ON TOP EVERYTHING IS PERFECT
Friendly and warm Welcoming - impeccable room with everything you need (even a microwave!) - impeccable cleanliness - very comfortable bedding - and superb exterior (pool area very well appointed and relaxing even if, taking into account the season, we could not enjoy it) - excellent breakfast - ideal location, very close to Aix en Provence, Mareille and Provencal villages
in addition, do not hesitate to ask for a "meal tray" that sylvie will prepare and with which you will feast (in the garden, in the kitchen reserved for residents or even, in your accommodation)

Lovely B&B with Wonderful Hospitality
Hosts Sylvie and Christophe were completely delightful, so very accommodating and friendly.
Our room was ‘Pivoine’ – beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable, clean, good ensuite bathroom.
We had deck chairs on the grass outside our room, which we made good use of - sipping champagne and beer in the late afternoon sun before heading out to dinner. Some afternoons Sylvie brought around some home cooked pre-dinner snacks that she had made – yum!
Breakfast was very adequate, it included; Sylvie’s homemade bread, jams & preserves, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, cereal etc...
Sylvie very kindly did a load of washing for me which was a blessing. Sylvie doesn’t speak a lot of English however with my broken French and her broken English we managed just fine. Christophe does speak English quite well, he was very hospitable and extremely helpful.
Every afternoon, after we’d been out exploring all day, it was an absolute pleasure to come back to L’etape Provencale to relax and unwind.
L’etape Provencale is located in a 5min drive from the town of Calas which has a little shopping village where most supplies can be sourced (food, pharmacy, wine etc).
I’d recommend this B&B to anyone wanting the feeling of a country escape without being too isolated or far from a major city (Marseilles 30min drive, Avignon 90min drive).
I would definitely stay at L’etape Provencale in the future.

Good B&B
The main disadvantage was that there was no housekeeping, the room was not cleaned while we were there (3 nights), even the garbage was not taken out. Another thing was that the door to the bathroom was difficult to open and it became quite annoying at the end of the trip. Another disadvantage as for me was that there was only one pillow for two (a long one). I just got used to have my own one and not to share it :)
It seems that the place is only reachable by car which should be considered by the future guests. The tv had only French channels.
Very good location
