Highly recommended clean and tranquil campsite with excellent hosts.
We had a very warm welcome and felt very supported in things to do and how to get there. The site was extremely well-kept, very clean and very tranquil. The location was perfect - an easy walk to the centre of town and to hiking trails and close to the Gorge of Verdon.

Good camping, 600 MT from the town
Excellent bathroom facilities showers unloading cassette etc., excellent Service to have to order baguette and Pan chocolate or other camping in the morning, clean neat great reception, only wifi note practically unusable I hope enhance the Service and it would be perfect anyway superrecommended.

Great campsite
Thank you Eric for a great stay. Very welcoming and helpful, so friendly with great English (we speak no French so very much appreciated).
The site was lovely, good size pitch for our 8m+ Moho, facilities were rustic but functional and very clean. We would definitely return, the area is stunning, good value stay. Thanks

Good starting point for activities
Camping Notre Dame in Castellane is an absolute must! The Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and gives valuable tips on everything to do in the area, from canyoning and rafting to mountain biking and hiking. Also tips on the restaurants and activities in the village. His English is excellent, which makes communicating a lot easier.
The campsite itself is neatly maintained with clean sanitary facilities and lovely showers for which you do not need coins or cards – a big plus for me! You can order bread for the next day. From 8:30 am the fresh food will be waiting for you at the reception, so you can start the day well. The village center of Castellane is just a 10-minute walk away, where you will find many cozy restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere.
What really made the difference for us was the help we received when our car had problems starting. The Owner gave us a booster without hesitation, so we could safely get a new battery without risk of getting stranded anywhere. This kind of personalized service makes Camping Notre Dame truly unique. We will definitely be back here again!
