Very good location

Central location and beautiful view from the suite.

Good value for a great location

The hotel is in a great location in the village of Castellane, a few steps from restaurants and shops. Has a free parking and a pool. Seems to have been updated recently, but has no air conditioning; however a Dyson cool tower in the room helped manage the temperature during the heat wave. Bedroom and bathroom were of decent size and clean. No mini refrigerator, no paper tissues, no paper and pen or pencil. Overall a good value

Old meets new

A well located hotel in the centre of town. Very comfortable well equipped room. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice. We would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional Location, Warm Family Hospitality, and a Memorable Stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Castellane.
The location is simply outstanding. It would be hard to find a better spot in Castellane, with beautiful views towards the famous Roc de Castellane and its chapel overlooking the town.
What made the stay even more special was the warm hospitality. This is a family-run hotel, and you can feel it in every interaction. Madame Fradet and her sons, Pierre and David, are genuinely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their friendliness made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. This was especially important because I stayed for 10 days and was traveling alone and it is motorcycle friendly (!).
The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice and a great way to start the day before exploring the Verdon region.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The combination of the exceptional location, the personal service, and the welcoming family atmosphere made this a memorable stay. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Castellane and the Verdon area.
