The hotel was incredible. The small town was so charming. The pool and restaurants overlooked a stunning view. The only downside was that they stopped serving breakfast prior to the stated end time.

Beautiful hidden hotel

Hotel almost hidden in a historic village.
Warm welcome and very friendly and efficient valets.
Very beautiful services, architecture, decor, comfort, magnificent pool area, just a slight disorganization at the Azur restaurant the first evening, but nothing really problematic.
Excellent dining at Le Vieux Castillon and in a different style at JOIO.
Highly recommended.

A magnificent establishment with service that is unfortunately not up to par.

Stay booked in a Deluxe room with a meal in the gourmet restaurant for an important birthday. The staff was informed at the time of booking, and a written confirmation requesting a gesture either in the room or during dinner was requested. The check-in was pleasant at the front desk, and then we were escorted to our room. I quote the employee: "The room stinks, there is nothing we can do about it, it is because of the street, no need to point it out to us, we have already been informed and we cannot do anything about it." It was impossible to change our room in a fully booked establishment, there was no sense of service in granting us any gesture whatsoever, and no attention for the birthday during the meal, despite a reminder. In short, it is a shame to rely on the location and the walls and omit the basics: guests come to this type of establishment for the place, certainly, but also to spend a timeless moment surrounded by staff trained in hospitality and service.

A magical place but poorly managed

Very, very disappointing.
A magnificent site, very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms…..
nonexistent service, a dirty pool with mattresses…. very uncomfortable and above all very worn out….
A hotel worthy of 3 stars and not 5…..the breakfast absolutely not worthy of a luxurious hotel…… no service!!!
Really a shame, because I repeat, the site is wonderful.
The valet and one of the servers absolutely kind and professional….. but 2 staff members to highlight for their professionalism, it’s a bit limited… for a 5-star hotel

Relaxation in a magnificent setting

Magnificent setting, beautiful architectural complex, only downside is the exterior maintenance, which is not worthy of a five-star hotel. (pool not clean enough)
The experience at the restaurant La Table du Castillon was very pleasant with sophisticated dishes and beautiful plate presentations.
A relaxing moment at the spa with a massage was very beneficial.
