Discovery of a nugget

Having used to rub shoulders with restaurants, the Abbey of Celles sur Belle revives the taste buds thanks to its excellent cook.

Excessive and unjustified rate in relation to the service

We wonder what criteria this hotel has 2 stars. Lots of details that make this a great disappointment. Cobwebs, "dodgy" bathroom joints, unfilled holes, falling curtains, others torn, a decrepit ceiling, no shower gel in the specially designed bottle. Elevator down.
The evening meal was expensive for a meal worthy of a collective canteen! For dessert, a four-quarter slice with 4 points of chantilly around! Never seen before! Proper velvety and a low-end fish with rice and a totally tasteless fillet of cream... All for 27€ (without wine or coffee).
Pros: a nice terrace, a nice restaurant and breakfast room. Clean towels, sheets too but the protective sheet was all folded under A delicious bread. The breakfast is still not up to the 18€ and is not regularly stocked. Every detail consumed is charged (0.50€ for the syrup in the half). Everything is abused...
We did not hide our disappointment at the hotel reception who told us they "upgraded" us in an apartment because the hotel was full. I don't know how the rooms were... Hospitality is a profession of rigour, especially when one claims to offer a service at a certain cost. Fortunately others are very good at their job.

Very disappointed compared to its rating.

Nice setting, the restaurant is not up to its prices. Pork salad of poor quality, the fries with the chicken were overcooked, in short, dry, greasy, and not good. The pistachio frozen dessert with an extra charge was sickening. I am still looking for the frozen dessert. Very disappointed, avoid in the evening.

Very disappointing.

Friendly welcome and good breakfast... and that's it! Room cleaned once in 4 nights, not enough toilet paper even though we requested more, just like the half curtain that we had to put back ourselves at 10 PM when "it will be done." No one at the reception starting Saturday noon and no emergency number.

2 servers in the dining room, 1 smiling and pleasant young man in training and another who is barely responding to our questions and is on the verge of being unpleasant.
We choose the 36 euro menu, 45 minutes before being served; the duck breast is overcooked, the spinach puree is frozen, and 3 leaves of sucrine slightly color the plate, which is dark and flavorless.
We decide to choose the cheese platter to avoid disappointment; the salad is chewed without dressing...
We have just arrived in the area; this address could have been a great culinary meeting place. First and last time!
