Lovely Place with Excellent Service

This charming establishment has become a favorite getaway over the years. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder guests return time and again. The host, Kees, goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, making everyone feel right at home. The on-site restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a menu that features a variety of delicious dishes at reasonable prices. Whether you're here for a weekend escape or a longer stay, this place promises comfort, great service, and a touch of home.

A wonderful place. But totally outdated.

A great place. A few steps from Chalais. Near sackings.
Superb place full of history: held for centuries by the ironworkers (forerunner of the steel union ) sold in 1980. Held by a Dutch couple. The welcome is warm although our reservation has disappeared.... But the rooms are outdated. The decoration is of another age. The bathroom is from the last century.
Count 200 € for 2 for 1 night with 1 course for dinner and breakfast (single) the next day. Swimming pool not functional during our visit.

Fantastic and familiar experience

My girlfriend and I have visited the castle twice this holiday, on the way there and on the way back. The Owner we consider a friend: Always interested and very engaging and service! Great sleep and great food! We love to come back again. A bientot!

Excellent experience

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is privileged in nature. The dinner menu is varied and the dishes are excellent, The overall value for money is perfect. I recommend without hesitation and warmly.

Unforgettable family birthday party

We celebrated our son's birthday. The warm welcome, the succulent meal, it was a magnificent experience. We had a great time as a family in an extraordinary atmosphere. We'll come back soon. A big thank-you!
