Excellent value for money, quality homemade food

Excellent value for money for a stop on the highway for one night. The restaurant deserves to have the quality of the homemade food, prepared to order for the evening meal, highlighted. The breakfast is exceptional in quality, freshness, and variety.

Mixed review

We stayed one night at this hotel. The conclusion is mixed: breakfast was well-stocked with plenty of choices, however the dining room was a bit small for the number of guests; the room was comfortable and soundproofed, but the bed was a bit small, and there was no fridge or hospitality tray. Disappointing for an ibis "style" category.

Very average

For a one-night stopover, the hotel is well-located relative to the highway in a commercial area but 10 minutes by car from the Chalon-sur-Saône city center.
We arrived on a Saturday evening and, surprise: the restaurant was closed, information not mentioned on the website, hence the 3/5. Regarding the evening reception, upon arrival, the receptionist was not very smiling, even if they seemed very rigorous and helpful.
Regarding the morning hostess, poor thing, they were everywhere: reception, helping out at breakfast: there is no procedure for the tray to be put away on a cart, but the table is to be cleared by the breakfast staff, very friendly people doing their best during the "rush" to be pleasant to us.
For the positive points: very clean room. The hotel is also very clean.
Free outdoor parking.

Welcoming hotel and very decent restaurant.

Hotel that we visit regularly. We are comfortable here. At the restaurant, very good welcome from Cathy and her team. Cuisine: very popular salad bar, the tasty dishes are prepared and cooked on-site. Notably, excellent wines from the region.

Everything was fine except for the disappointing restaurant. A very limited menu and small portions. The main course food was well cooked and tasty but the creme caramel desert was completely lacing in flavour.
