Tremendous 2 star hotel in the centre of Chamonix

Tremendous 2 star hotel in the centre of Chamonix!
Stayed here for 4 days and it is simply perfect if you want a budget friendly stay. It is clean, quiet although does come with a side order of shabby chic.
Beds are clean and comfortable, breakfast bountiful and the bar downstairs perfect for a chilled beer.
Add in free parking and a ski boot plus you can walk to a ski lift (Brevent), albeit up a small hill.
It’s perfect and unbeatable value.

Wouldn’t recommend

The hotel rooms are very very basic. Very uncomfortable bed and pillow. Very old and dated rooms.
If you get a back facing window, expect little to no sleep. From 11pm until after 4am there’s a constant stream of people leaving the bars who hang out loudly at the children’s play area outside the back of the hotel. All night!
There’s also loud construction noise until 6pm right outside the back of the hotel too.
We stayed here before and after hiking TMB and it was a big mistake. You don’t get any sleep or rest.
Couldn’t wait to leave.

small family hotel with views of the Mont Blanc and downtown , close to points of interest, essential breakfast , we were in a family room with small balcony ,,with essential .very friendly staff,listening ,room made every morning

No resleeping service in this hotel

We had no sleepover service in this hotel, towels, soaps, shower gel were almost empty. Apart from that the breakfast service and the waiter are great! Except the lady who cleans the ground floor who was not at all nice, nor welcoming. We said this had a good stay.

The view and the nice staff!!

Ok it’s old but they told us it’s gonna be updated asap, room is clean, the view is stunning, the breakfast was good and the staff makes you feel welcome, we will recommend this hotel, it’s in the hart of the centre. thanks Xavier and Fabrice, maybe till next year!
