Relaxing break

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel was very relaxing and quiet, we were on the first floor and still couldn’t hear any noise! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The reception and bar were very polite and helpful, as well as the staff at the spa.
The pool and spa area was quiet which was very relaxing and had stunning views! Id recommend this hotel to anyone! Right next to the buss/ coach pick up and only a short walk from the main centre.

A nice hotel in an excellent location in Chamonix with views of Mt Blanc. Good breakfast, nice lobby bar, mixed helpfulness on the staff. Nice pool and spa area. Main negatives are basic furnishing (a classic high volume ski hotel), significant noise issues in central rooms (bar/events on terrace), pets are allowed (barking early morning). Nothing a good pair of ear plugs can’t solve. Would book again.

Good bed.
Cons:
Parking should be included at this price point.
TV should have more than French channels at such a multinational hotel/location.

Negative

We booked two superior rooms (so to speak) from August 10th, with departure on the 14th, half-board. We arrived and it is the first time in 60 years that it has happened to me to arrive at a 4-star property where parking is not included, not even an outdoor lot. After a 600 km trip and after unloading the luggage, I had to park in a public parking lot 300 meters away and at 20 euros a day. Zero welcome, only on Thursday, our. On the last day we learned that, included in the price, there was free use of a local train that allowed visiting some towns.... the pool was crowded with very few sunbeds always occupied, and with two elderly men who stayed all afternoon inside the pool with a t-shirt and hat (unusable). Practically, we didn't get to swim. Property without air conditioning.......Room terrace dirty and neglected with a wooden balustrade all dried out without maintenance. Problems the first evening for dinner, then I made myself heard and for the following evenings there was indeed more attention... the food is quite good. However, the property is absolutely not adequate for 4 stars, nor even for 3, also taking into account the exorbitant prices that there are in Chamonix. WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT RETURNING AND PERSONALLY I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. A note of appreciation for the blonde girl at the reception, very kind, who spoke Italian and whom we found only on the last day, who illustrated to us the possibility of free use of the train for visiting some locations. As of today, 4 days after our return, they still have not released the 150 euro deposit on my wife's credit card. Negative experience

Amazing Location

Set overlooking Mount Blanc is the highlight of the hotel and it’s also a short walk into the centre of Chamonix, the gondolas up into the mountains are close by. The hotel reception, bar and restaurant areas are welcoming and beautifully decorated. Breakfast had a good choice of food whereas we found the evening meals menu to have little choice and heavy on the carbs and it took along time for food to arrive, for one evening we went elsewhere for food. Staff were always professional and polite.
Our room had an amazing view of Mount Blanc and over the pool area, there was a Dyson fan rather than air conditioning which didn’t really do the job of cooling the room down at night. The room itself was pleasant enough and the bathroom did the job but not sure why they painted the whole thing Simpson yellow?!
We were here on half board, in hindsight I would have gone for B&B as there are plenty of options of restaurants close by.

Very good location
