Magical

Truly wonderful, we could not believe the value for the money. We got a free drink, ear plugs, a towel, and breakfast. Plus, we had a lovely view of the mountains from our room. Would definitely recommend.

A Nightmare, but breakfast good.

The breakfast was nice but the rest was scary
Everything was so dirty that we had remove the sheets.
I found stains on the walls and on the bed, hair, splashes of liquids on the doors; furthermore there was a very strong smell that did not go away even if you let it air out.

Steps from the mountains

The entire check-in process is automated, and the entrance to the rooms is done through numerical codes, without magnetic cards or keys. Breakfast is basic but sufficient, and your dining room is quite spacious, with a good view towards the mountains.

Comfortable

This place is what it is. It’s a convenient, cheap place to stay. My friend and I had a Mountain View twin room. It was basic, warm and comfortable. There was always hot water and it was clean. Breakfast has loads of options. The check in was self check in and out. The bar is great and the food is amazing. This is more of a hostel vibe and a good one at that. We will definitely return

Good basic accommodation

Vert Lodge is a good basic place to stay if you want to ski or snowboard locally. We stayed in an attic room and really enjoyed ourselves as a group of mum friends.

Great food in the restaurant
Nice evening atmosphere

25 minute walk in to Chamonix
Dated/tired rooms and decor is a bit dirty
For a group holiday if you don’t mind a bit of rustic charm and a bit of a hike to the town centre vert lodge is a great option.
