A great Boult hole!

Back from a short break in Northern France staying with Steven and Linda at their home in Champ-du-Boult.
We were made to feel very welcome. As a family of 4 we thought that we would all be in one room and were pleasantly surprised to be in the 'classique' suite with a double and twin room, separate bathroom and lobby and all behind our own door. The suite was on the first floor, extremely clean and comfortable, well furnished with a kettle and tea/coffee etc. (There is another suite above with a double and single in one room with an adjacent room containing bunk beds).
We arranged direct for a meal on our first evening. Best to agree timing, menu and cost in advance.
The location was very peaceful in rolling farmland and woods but close enough to Vire and main roads to make trips to Granville and beyond very easy. Pets were friendly but not intrusive (moved away at meal times) and good with children.
Would definitely recommend as a base for touring or longer stays.
A really welcoming couple for whom nothing was too much trouble!

Fantastic stay

We had an overnight stay here as a family of on a stopover to the south of France. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the room was lovely and spacious, clean With extremely comfortable beds. The location was very serene and relaxing with only a short drive to a larger town. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
Amazing place, would highly recommend. Thanks

Tranquility in a country location

This genuine oasis in the French countryside close to the charming village of Champ du Boult, for my wife and myself it serves as a leisure break but also as a highly convenient business location due to its accessibility to a TGV station at Vire with high speed train access across France and in addition there is close proximity to ferries.
Best of all is the laid back friendly reception where B & B can become an evening meal l with wine should you so choose and when you return, as I suspect you will it is almost like returning to visit family. You will need to like dogs cats and perhaps even the donkey but as long as you never make the mistake of throwing anything for the Jack Russel to retrieve you can have a laid back relaxing break.

Comfortable and friendly

Relaxing and enjoyable overnight stay on the way to Brittany via Le Mont Saint Michel. Our children loved playing with the dogs and we tried to re book for the trip home but you were busy. Linda is a very warm hospitable host. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house and surroundings

Expect a warm welcome from Linda and Stephen to their lovely home. The rooms are immaculate and well laid out. We had an evening meal which was fantastic value and superbly cooked by Stephen who is a chef and it shows. The room was immaculate and well laid out for a good nights sleep. We are looking forward to returning later in the year.
