Wonderful experience

If you want to unwind you have to go to the castle. Beautiful surroundings. Very clean and hugely friendly host! We enjoyed it very much! A delicious breakfast in the garden was the icing on the cake!

An enchanted interlude.

It was an enchanted interlude. We appreciated the warm welcome, the quiet, the cleanliness, and a delicious breakfast made from local products with homemade jams. A kitchen is at our disposal. We were able to make ourselves tea in the afternoon and an herbal tea in the evening. We will recommend this place to our friends and loved ones.

A wonderful place

I am truly very satisfied! It is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept place. I had a wonderful time with my friends. The owner is a very caring and kind person. I highly recommend this place and I am already looking forward to returning!

This is a gem! Recommending to friends & family

Very much recommend a stay at Chateau de Ribourdin, and would happily return! Matthieu is a natural and generous host, also nice to meet Dad. So appreciated the day trip suggestions plus nice drive routes. The location is excellent, a wonderful variety of sights within 40 minutes' drive. (Caves with not only stalactites/stalagmites but also prehistoric cave paintings! Never knew I'd have opportunity to see these sights). I would think the area is great for cycling too, the chateau has many leaflets, and in mid May we found the roads quiet compared to our south of England home.
And the food! So good for all lovers of quality bread, flan, fresh yoghurt, les confitures, les gelees and fruits.
The garden has both swimming pool and jacuzzi. We loved seeing the historical and distinctive dovecote.
A stay which was great value indeed!

A great stay in a beautiful setting

Great communication from our charming host,Matthieu. Prior to arrival, he sent an email with links to restaurants in town and nearby which turned out to be very helpful.
Our room was clean, comfortable and quite large. We were also pleased with the very nicely updated bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious - homemade yogurt, jams and cakes, croissants and breads from the local baker, fresh fruit and coffee and tea.
In the morning Matthieu gave us a brief history of the château and an interesting tour of their dovecote. He then provided us with a map highlighting a scenic route to our next stop, Guédelon. He also marked an interesting stop at the 13c church which served as the inspiration for the Guédelon chapel.
I really wish we had stayed longer at Château de Ribourdin!
