Nice hotel "in the middle of nowhere"...

Excellent hotel...in the middle of nowhere, a little haven of peace surrounding a beautiful pool surrounded by trees. Very comfortable room, good dinner (except for the poor quality vegetables and fries) and a particularly pleasant and friendly welcome.

Lovely hotel - chaotic service at breakfast

A comfortable and quiet hotel a stone's throw from the motorway so an excellent overnight stop. Lovely pool and secluded restaurant and bar. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the only disappointment: served in a basement room with limited natural light. There was only one member of staff who was struggling to replenish the breakfast supplies and clear the tables on his own. It needed another member of staff. This was not at 4* quality but maybe there was an unexpected staffing issue that day.

Pleasant stay and food

A friendly and easy welcome, clean and spacious rooms and a lovely meal at the restaurant. Nothing a problem and when asked for a special non alcoholic cocktail for the kids it was done. Herve and Pierre in the restaurant very knowledgeable.
A great nights sleep with comfortable beds and shutters and no noise at all.

The main house did not have an elevator and our room was on the third floor. Not easy to climb up the stairs. Staff was very helpful and took our luggage upstairs.

Nice property Service can improve

Our stay was an overnight to cut short a long journey from Perigord to Burgundy. The property is well maintained and offers ample parking. The room was small but offered the expected amenities and was clean and quiet. We found that the service could improve. The receptionist was formal and correct. But did not make us feel welcome during the process. We went for early dinner and were told that reservations were necessary. The dining room had empty tables. Understood, but the person said it walking away from us; like “ I can’t be bothered with you if do not follow the rules” rude attitude. It will not be a choice if in the are in the future.
