A very pleasant stay despite the lack of parking spaces.
We stayed two nights at the Greet Hotel in Colmar, as a couple, for a weekend in the region. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
The room was impeccably clean upon our arrival. The bedding is really very comfortable and we slept very well during the two nights. We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent soundproofing: we heard practically no noise from neighboring rooms or from outside, which is particularly appreciated for getting a good rest after a day of sightseeing.
The breakfast is simple, but offers just what is needed to start the day off right. The selection is sufficient, the products are good, and the whole thing corresponds perfectly to what one can expect for a short stay.
The main negative point concerns the hotel parking lot, which unfortunately does not have enough spaces relative to the number of rooms. Returning after 9:00 PM, we did not find an available space and had to park our vehicle outside. This can be quite inconvenient, especially when you choose a hotel thinking you can take advantage of its parking for the entire duration of the stay.
Despite this problem, we have a very good impression of the establishment. The quality of the bedding, the cleanliness, and the quiet are real strong points. A good place to spend a weekend in Colmar, provided you don't return too late if you want to find a spot in the parking lot.

Bien que nous disposions d'un nombre limité de places par rapport à la capacité de l'hôtel, nous faisons de notre mieux pour conseiller nos clients sur les possibilités de stationnement gratuit et sécurisé dans les rues adjacentes en cas de forte affluence.

Come on, it's fine!
Anonymous hotel on the outskirts of Colmar with a large private parking lot as a plus. As soon as you cross the threshold the first thing you feel like saying is: it's ugly. Sloppy and disappointing. Then you go up to the room and you immediately notice it's a little cramped, poorly furnished and with a small bathroom. But then you think that it's at an honest price and always honestly you notice the essential and functional shower. Just how I like it. Simple. Not like certain showers that would like to be technological and you struggle to get the ideal water temperature. The quality of sleep also turned out to be good. Decent breakfast. Certainly don't expect a wow effect; the drab look is impossible not to notice. But, I repeat, it is an honest hotel that honestly offers its services. For short or very short stays—we stayed for one night—it is just fine. It is also pet friendly, which is essential for me!!!

Siamo felici che, dietro a un primo impatto estetico forse un po' troppo minimalista o "dimesso" per i vostri gusti, abbiate saputo apprezzare la concretezza e l'onestà dei nostri servizi. In fin dei conti, un ottimo parcheggio gratuito, un letto comodo per garantire la qualità del sonno, una colazione dignitosa e, soprattutto, una doccia semplice, calda e funzionale senza troppa tecnologia inutile, sono proprio gli elementi che fanno la differenza durante un viaggio!
Siamo inoltre felicissimi che abbiate apprezzato la nostra filosofia pet-friendly: per noi gli amici a quattro zampe sono sempre i benvenuti e considerati ospiti d'onore.

The layout of the triple room is really good and gives some privacy. Loved the home made breakfast. Easy bus to station or town from right outside the door.

Ideal for a city break
First of all, a big thank you to the very friendly and courteous staff, especially in the service and kitchen.
Right in advance I recommend this hotel for a city break or short stay.
We ourselves were on site for three nights.
Positive points:
- Located about 1.2 km from the old town. Optimal to reach on foot.
- It is possible to park for free, for electric cars there is a charging station.
- The food (we had half board) was qualitatively (especially in the evening) very good. It was possible to choose between some main courses. In addition, it was possible to choose a starter OR dessert. For children there was a tarte flambée or spaetzle with ham (see pictures).
- The staff responded to special needs (celiac disease). Thank you for that.
- The rooms, especially the bathroom was very modern.
- Also nice was that there is a small play area for children / lounge for adults.
Suggestions:
- Rooms are carpeted. Especially here, special attention should be paid to cleaning. Unfortunately, this was not the case in our room (observation of two days).
- In the play area, it would be optimal if the batteries of the digital toys were replaced.
- The breakfast buffet already had a solid selection of food. Care could still be taken to replenish the food e.g. pretzels when they are empty.
- The children’s menu could still be made child-friendly e.g. French fries, “normal noodles” instead of spaetzle
