Set on the banks of the Canal du Midi, Au Lavoir bed and breakfast is located in Colombiers, 6 km from central Béziers. A continental breakfast is included and the spacious guest rooms all feature a spa bath.

Not bad!
The room is spacious, bathroom with Jacuzzi and walk-in shower.
Guests should be warned that when I fill up my jacuzzi there is no hot water to shower since the rooms are equipped with individual cumulus.
Some effort could be made on cleanliness.
Breakfast more than basic: half a slice of ham per person and two pieces of supermarket cheese, pastries, bread and a mini fruit salad.
We could not try the restaurant which was closed on Sunday and Monday.
It should also be specified that the parking is not reserved for the guest of the rooms but also for those of the restaurant, so it is difficult to park there.
The positive is the proximity to the Clinique CAUSSE (5 minutes walk).

Must-see because superb
Very nice welcome, very friendly, in short we feel good. Terrace and beautiful garden. We stayed there 2 nights, I can only highly recommend.

Very poor value for money / Award
We went to the pool and found that the water was dirty, covered with leaves and bird feathers. There was no towel available. We also had to do without the pool.
Having gone out into the village, when a little after 10pm we found that all access was closed. Luckily for us, the last employee left the establishment and she was able to let us in otherwise the question arises as to where we would have slept?
The next morning, breakfast with products from the local supermarket (fruit juice, yogurt, cold cuts and cheese, everything is industrial) all in ridiculous proportions. We had a small piece of bread per person and we could not get an extra one, there were no plans.
When, at the time of payment, we reported our lack of information that nearly prevented us from re-entering the Pension the night before, the manager was close to criticizing us for not having dinner at her establishment, which would have prevented us from having such a mishap. No words of apology.
It is surely better to look for another accommodation in the area.
