Not given but very nice to do once
We had booked the package "La vie de château"; this represented 2 days, 1 night, breakfast and dinner in the 1 star restaurant. We enjoyed having a castle life experience for 2 days with receptionists and waiters with little care, who were there to accompany us for all our requests. The area is very nice and it is very nice to walk there.

Very small room
Very small rooms, no Place to leave your luggage, no airco, no mini bar, no possibility to recharge your cellphone (unless you unplug the bedlight). Very expensive for what you get. We stayer in Manu chateau hotels and do not recommend this one.

We would nevertheless like to clarify that all our rooms are equipped with a minibar. The room category you selected was our Tradition Room, measuring 17 m², which is our most compact category. The average size of our rooms is 35 m². Some of our other room categories are also equipped with air conditioning.

A magnificent castle in a pretty park, a very pleasant setting for a very good lunch, very good service, excellent cuisine, thank you Massimiliano, everything is delicious, I liked it a lot.

Clumsy Stay
My husband, dog, and I stayed here for one night in the Marie Louise suite on the way back to the UK. While the suite is one-of-a-kind, the service and experience were clumsy at best.
The signage for the hotel was poor upon arrival. I had to jump out and ask individuals sitting at a desk in a random building if I was at the right hotel, and it turned out that they worked for the hotel. Instead of telling us to turn around and drive through the proper gate, they told us to use a tight service gate. They walked away and I had to hop out of the car to guide my husband through the stone pillars. Not the best start.
The suite is HUGE! Perfect for a large family or as a wedding suite. They left two bowls for our dog, which was thoughtful. Luxe bathrooms but lumpy bed pillows.
Instead of taking our dog to a swanky dinner, I ordered a cheese and charcuterie tray a few days in advance for dinner. We decided to have it in the room. We were shocked when a few slices of charcuterie and bread arrived with no cheese or accoutrements, especially given the advance order. We had to call for cheese, but the presentation was quite poor. My husband ordered a ham sandwich which was also below average.
The grounds were nice. The hotel may want to consider adding a trash receptor here or there given that they welcome dogs. Although the hotel advertises an electric car charger, it’s a wall plug that did not work for our car.
All in all, it was simply fine. Suite was memorable but it did not feel particularly luxurious, especially for a Relaix and Chateaux property.

Exceptional food, beautiful Chateau, shame about the attitude of the restaurant staff
Exceptional food, beautiful Chateau, shame about the attitude of the restaurant staff! The evening restaurant staff were not very welcome and had a very arrogant approach. Also, the afternoon drinks service was almost none assistant. However, the food was delicious, so many flavours that complimented each other. Our room was lovely, it had everything we needed, was comfortable and clean. We regularly make this journey through France and would have loved to stop here again but not with the fear of how uncomfortable the waitress/maître d' made us feel. I hate leaving anything but positive reviews, but this experience ruined everything positive about the hotel.
