A beautiful hotel for a modest price
The arrival is impressive: a large park with parking spaces and, at the top, a building early 20th century that looks great. The receptionist received me kindly and indicated the elevator that serves my room on the 2nd floor. This room, designed for 2 people, is large. It is equipped with a queen size bed, an electric kettle (but with only one dose of soluble coffee and one dose of tea), a safe, 2 garbage cans (bedroom and shower room) and even a valet (rare in hotels). The connection to Wifi is a little more laborious than the receptionists had announced. You have to go through the browser of the computer to access the connection, as this is an unnecessary complication because the connection is not protected by a password. Once connected, Wifi is effective.
Despite all these advantages, there are some shortcomings. The only seat is a stool. The power outlet near the office is at ground level. You have to get on all fours to get to him. The wardrobe has only 3 hangers, one of which is for trousers. The radiator against the wall near the window punctures the eyes but it is dummy, impossible to operate it. So I shivered and it was only when I lay down that my gaze went to the ceiling where I recognized an air conditioning.
Dinner was tasty. Everything was missing for breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the farm cheeses. A downside for what looked like orange juice but was a little acidic.
Finally, let’s mention a great quality of this hotel-restaurant: the modest prices: for one night in a hotel, parking, dinner with aperitif and glass of wine and breakfast, I paid only EUR 115 (and I had not chosen the cheapest menu).

The evening meal was superb. Breakfast was frugal; we had to ask for croissants since none were left after other diners had taken 2 each whereupon the owner brought my wife and I a croissant each on a tray.

Cute family run business
Great little hotel, comfortable and clean, friendly staff who knew the area and could recommend dining close by.
The bar staff were fun and prices reasonable, the hotel is situated close to the town centre and easily accessible.

Good clean condition. The restaurant was absolutely lovely. I ate breakfast dinner and evening meal here over three days and the staff were excellent, and service brilliant.

Not even close to expectations
Looks like a lovely quaint hotel until you are lead away from it to a different building. Signs everywhere say “We speak English”. Not true..one Person speaks English and she was away having a baby. Thankfully, my husband speaks some French. This was a Sunday and all restaurants within miles of here were closed. When we checked in at 2:10 they were serving lunch in the dining room. One of the reasons we booked this hotel...said to be one of the best restaurants around. We asked to be seated for lunch. “NO...(in french)...We are closed now”. We asked if we could just get some bread and cheese because we were very hungry finding nowhere open. NO...NOT POSSIBLE! The restaurant emptied around 4-4:30. No dinner service...closed today as well...because its Sunday.. Upon checkout in the morning I thought the billed seemed high from what we had booked it for. I checked. We were charged €40.00 for a bottle of mineral water and “biscuits” we never received. My outrage kept in check, and it was immediately removed from our bill when I protested. Oh...Apple would not allow us to access their free WIFI. saying it was corrupted and a very real threat of identity theft.
