A magnificent discovery!

Real homemade Reunionese cuisine!
The flavors as much as the spices and the friendly welcome transported us during a meal to the scenery of the Indian Ocean. A true escape nestled in the heart of the Black Mountain.
For lovers of arranged rums, magnificent discoveries await you.

Lunch in the country

Cuxac-Cabardès is one of our favourite villages in les Montagne Noir along with it’s close neighbour - Caudebronde. There is only one restaurant - ‘La Table d’Orelise’ which is in the hotel in Cuxac-Cabardès Cabardes. There is a basic lunch menu during the week with an extended menu at the weekends. The atmosphere is relaxed although service could be bettered by maybe adding one more to the wait staff. The young waitress was excellent but rushed off her feet and looked stressed. Service was therefore a little slow, but it was busy. The food however is excellent, well cooked and tasty. The desert of the day a delicious chocolate mouse cheesecake was very naughty. This restaurant is worth a visit if traveling in the area. It is not open all day so be careful with timing, kitchen orders close at 2pm, but you can get a coffee or refreshment yo to about 3. Highly recommend

Le resto/bar : je n'y reviendrais plus

Après le changement de propriétaire, j'ai testé 2 fois et à chaque fois j'étais très déçu. Il y a même du manque de respect par rapport au le client ce que je n'aime pas du tout. Les prix sont devenus très élevés sans que cela se justifie dans l'assiète. De la déco, c'est tout ce que vous aurez

Du goût à prix doux

Niché au cœur de la montagne noire un restaurant qui fait Hotel à visiter. Menu à 18€50 aux assiettes généreuses et goûteuses la salade de gésiers est très bien servie, la viande y est excellente et je vous conseil la crêpirole c'est une sorte de profiterole ou le choux est remplacé par une crêpe un délice ! Pour ceux qui aime le cassoulet ici il est maison aux confits et ils le font même à emporter ! Les tarifs des boissons est à prix très très doux. Si vous êtes dans le parage cela vaut le détour. Le restaurant est doté d'une terrasse accueillante

Cela vaut le detour

Conseille par les gens du moulin à papier de Brousse, nous n'avons pas regrette le détour.bon repas de produits du terroir Service rapide et agréable .les assiettes sont copieuses et bien présentées. C'est sur ,nous reviendrons lors d'un prochain séjour.
