The Joinville is a happy place.

Returning to Eu after a meeting at the castle, without passing by the Joinville, would be unthinkable.
What a joy to find oneself in this green haven of peace. Calm, pleasure, and quality of dishes with the Friends of the Louis-Philippe Museum.

cleanliness of the common areas needs to be reviewed

the room is clean; however, the restaurant, lounge, breakfast room, hallways, and common areas need attention. It would be good for the staff to roll up their sleeves; there are stains on the chairs and floors from several days!!! There are holes in the walls and floors, in front of the fireplace, on the parquet in the breakfast room, and the chairs in the breakfast room are dirty even though we were in the first service!!! Fortunately, the room was clean and the breakfast was acceptable... the spa area is not clean either, which is unacceptable for an establishment of this standing!!! I hope this excellent family establishment will correct these issues and return to the top.

Excellent stay

Calm and tranquility in the duplexes of this former royal henhouse.
Excellent breakfasts made with local and often organic products
The restaurant with its limited menu, a guarantee of product freshness... beautiful and excellent plates

Terrible, room full of flying ants

What a disappointment. First and foremost a hassle to check in, took far too long... Room was nice , no air conditioning and it was full of flying ants. After reporting, a lady came with an aerosol insecticide, as if that was going to solve the problem. We've been harassed all night by those filthy animals. When reporting the problem, the lady said with a lot of pretension « those critters unfortunately don't let you know when they come by « 
No compensation whatsoever , even if it was just a drink or a sincere apology . Never go back to that hotel. To avoid like the plague !!!

Total disappointment

Very, very disappointed. Given the standing of the estate, I expected a cocooning experience. Not at all! It all started with making the appointment. It was impossible to reach the spa to get the service I wanted. Out of frustration, I booked an online service. For 1 hour and 5 minutes. The service ultimately lasted 45 minutes. We held the disposable underwear in our hands until we reached the reception to then throw it in the trash in the restroom. No relaxation break at the end of the treatment, unlike in normal spas of this standing. In short, a positive point is that the practitioner who massaged me was very kind and attentive. It's a shame it didn't last longer
