Disappointed
We were very disappointed with our stay at this establishment.
Regarding the room, we found it unpleasant, with a very dilapidated bathroom, giving more the impression of being in a hospital room than in an establishment of this standing. The cleanliness also left something to be desired. The pillow notably had a bad odor and had stains, which is particularly regrettable.
The refrigerator did not work either. We reported it to the front desk, but unfortunately, no action was taken during our stay.
Regarding the spa, we were also disappointed. The facilities are very outdated, the area is really small compared to the number of rooms, and the cleanliness seemed insufficient to us.
The pool was not very clean either. A cleaning robot notably remained in the pool all morning, turned off, without anyone coming to remove it.
On the other hand, we would like to highlight the positive points: the restaurant as well as the breakfast were really very pleasant. The meals were hearty, very well served, and of high quality. This is clearly what makes this establishment worth visiting.
Unfortunately, considering the state of the room, the spa, and the pool, we are left with a very mixed impression of our stay and expected a much higher level of service.

Decent but a few details leave something to be desired
We took a session at the Spa which is fine but nothing special, very hot, not many cold options. The massage was, however, very high quality, relaxing, and restful.
The room was decent but looked better on the website. It was notably cheaper on-site than on the website, which does not seem normal.
A few details leave something to be desired (tape on the remote control, wall peeling, leaves in the hallways...)

More of a corporate hotel, than a quiet spot to relax
It may well be that we had not investigated Grenoble sufficiently, but the castle is situated in an industrial area. On entering the grounds there are multiple aged signs advising clients to take valuables from their cars, which did not create a particular inviting or safe atmosphere.
Our room was located in a modern conference block and it was clean, serviceable and had a comfortable bed.
On entering the room there was a young man loitering in the corridor on a phone who seemed to be there for some time, which did create an unusual vibe for a hotel
All staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful
For me more of an hotel for corporate travellers, than a quiet spot to relax
