The breakfast buffet is a stand-out. Oranges for juicing, Bordeaux butter, fresh baguettes, local cheese, hot chocolate and premium teas. The beer is a local brew too. Staff lovely, and rooms comfortable. Five stars.

Disgusting, avoid.

Not a great location, not scenic, not really as described on the Accor App. Restaurant atmosphere was quite good, lobby area was grim. My room was pretty disgusting, the carpet was so grubby and dirty, that I couldn’t walk around barefoot. Every aspect of my room and bathroom was worn, grubby and grim. In fact most of the hotel I encountered was similar, debris on the carpet, grubby and just very tired. Mecure prices were definitely not backed up with Mercure quality. Check in seemed to be a hassle to the man at the desk, no welcome, no hello, no smile.
The restaurant however was very different. Attentive staff, helpful staff and good food and beer.
Mercure are my go to hotel if there’s one where I intend staying, this example is way way way off of the usual standard. I wouldn’t even put it above a Formula 1.

Surprisingly good

Reading the comments, one imagines Jamaica Inn…but..
Modern and clean room with a balcony, separate bathroom and toilet. Appreciable air con. and a small fridge. Comfortable armchairs
Nice breakfast enjoyed on the terrace.
English speaking and friendly staff
Perfect ! We highly recommend!

A terrible experience

My allocated room was not made up eg dirty bed sheets and dirty wet towels still in the shower
The second room had no towels and the air conditioning grid was broken on the floor
Avoid at all costs !

Disgusting.

Cold room, rubbish food and really bad service. Nothing more to day. Would neber stay there again. And hope our tour company neber choose them again.
