Perfect

A beautifully furnished and equipped gite in a market town with all amenities. Zandra, Lee and the boys have thought of everything, so you can relax the minute you walk through the door
Our first visit to the area but it won’t be our last-and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Just perfect.

Beautiful, calm, but welcoming for little kids

Stayed 3 mights in August 2014, with small kid. We stayed three nights at the Jardin Secret to attend a wedding in the area. The location is good (with sightseeing and wine tasting opportunities reachable by car) but the lodging is even better: calm, nicely decorated and maintained. The 2 small gardens provide various opportunities to relax or safely play (pool, kids games, kids garden house). The kitchen is currently the only indoor communal areas (for the 3 bedrooms) but I heard next year there may be another "lounge room" available, which would be the icing and cherry on top of the cake. The kitchen is perfect to enjoy the nice breakfast prepared by the host, to prepare your own meals or just gather (it has some indoor games for the kids too). It is of course family owned and this provides the additional benefits of nice conversations or tips, while still maintaining the appropriate intimacy and respect. We will definitely come back!

Awesome stay at The Jardin Secret, it was like family! Allez-y!!

It's my second time at this Chambre d'hôte and I will be back again, it's such a lovely place with lovely owners Irem and Stephane who will make you feel at home, comme à la maison.
Nice rooms decorated with a lot of taste yet simplicity, 2 flowery gardens and this nice pool in one of them to relax and get refreshed. Kids will like it and the playground in the garden, Adults will like the table d'hôte (if you ask ,Irem can make you taste her inventive recipes mix of local and Mediterranean flavors) and the location in the middle of interesting vignards and the Bourg and Blaye citadelles with their view and history.
To me the best was to take the bikes they offer and discover the countryside with its vignards (including nice small wine makers who do organic or biodynamic and love to tell you about it) and the beautiful stone houses, but if you come August/September there's plenty of blackberries, which reminds me of my childhood and what a better family activity than to harvest blackberries and cook your own pie or some preserve (Irem can provide material and recipe, priceless holiday activity)
Note that it's also kids friendly, foodie and wine friendly, gay friendly and foreigners friendly (English speaking, unlike many in the area!!)

Une belle expérience

Séjour du Jeudi au Lundi matin, dans un cadre plein de charme, calme. Chambre avec une décoration pleine de talent, literie et salle de bain de qualité. Nos hôtes étaient absolument charmants, pleins de gentillesse et de délicatesse. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux (avec croissants, confiture, salade de fruit, jus d’oranges vraies) et attentionné. Au final, une belle expérience et une rencontre charmante.

Merveilleux endroit

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette chambre d hôtes où règne la sérénité c est un lieu plein de charme les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables une cuisine est à disposition ainsi qu une piscine le petit déjeuner est excellent et très copieux un grand merci à l hôte qui est très accueillante et sympathique à recommander
