Good surprise.

A hotel located in a quiet area near the lake.
The room we had featured a very comfortable king-size bed and a well-equipped bathroom.
The breakfast was plentiful and varied.
The value for money is very interesting.
To be recommended.

A friendly hotel

a friendly hotel , nothing missing, provide a car person with reduced mobility, the center is about 20 minutes walk. Charming welcome, perfectly clean room. Breakfast varied. And rare thing (laughs) towels that do not look like 'scrapers' as in most accommodation...So no complaint. Quiet night.

Overall bad

Stolen headphones (worth over 200 euro) - forgot them in the room and same evening when called no answer, and next day over email just the answer that they are not in the room (yeah, they just vanished - they even have a note on the door of each room that if you damage something you pay, if you forget something they mail it to your location, aha, right), well, I guess them or the cleaning people just took them straight.
Breakfast experience: to laugh, no other, when asked if they bring more omelet the lady said no as they have no more eggs and another group ate all omelet twice that morning and they are afraid to do a third time for that group not to eat it all again... in the end they agreed to do an omelet out of 1 egg for two people (to mention it is separately paid breakfast).
Dusty room, no snow removal from the emergency stairs.

Very well received

Double room, simple setting, good bedding, spacious shower, nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the room. Small welcome tray. Very well received by the hostess, smiling. Good breakfast, lots of choices and very good products.

Quiet and well located hotel

Hotel well located 1km walk from the center of Gerardmer. Clean room, good bedding, quiet. Breakfast is plentiful and cheap. Warm welcome! a good address. The Spa is very good (jacuzzi, hamman, sauna) but relatively expensive (20€/pers) for 1 hour.
