Incredible Venue, Incredible Staff
We had our wedding at Château du Puits es Pratx in April 2026, and it was truly one of the best decisions we have ever made. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible, and it’s hard to put into words just how much fun we (and all of our guests) had.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The château, courtyard, vineyards, and gardens create the kind of setting that feels straight out of a movie. Every corner is beautiful, and it makes the whole weekend feel relaxed but still incredibly special. We loved how the spaces flowed, from outdoor gatherings in the courtyard to drinks and dancing in the wine barn, which made the entire celebration feel natural and effortless.
What really makes this place exceptional, though, is the team. Lily, Luke, and the entire staff are unbelievable. From the beginning, planning a destination wedding could have been stressful, but they made everything feel easy and organized. They were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Multiple reviews talk about how smooth and stress-free the planning process is, and we can absolutely confirm that was our experience too.
During the wedding weekend itself, the staff went above and beyond in every way. They are incredibly warm, attentive, and somehow manage to make every guest feel at home. Many people say the team treats you like family, and that is exactly how it felt. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.
The food and wine were also a huge highlight. Every meal throughout the weekend was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared, and our guests are still talking about it. The overall level of detail, from the meals to the décor, was just outstanding.
One of the best parts of the experience was that it wasn’t just a single wedding day, it was a full weekend celebration. Being able to stay on-site with our friends and family, spend time by the pool, and enjoy multiple events together made it feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience rather than just a single event.
We honestly had the most fun we could have imagined. Everything felt effortless, joyful, and perfectly taken care of, which allowed us to be fully present and just enjoy the time with our favorite people.

Friends perfect wedding weekend
We were invited to a wedding in July this year. The wedding was the BEST wedding we have ever been to. The chateaux owners Lily and Luke couldn’t have made the wedding more perfect, I wish we could have stayed forever. The food and wine were INCREDIBLE! A big big thank you, you both made us all feel so welcome and are such lovely people.

Beautiful Château
The château is a great place for a family holiday or a wedding. Spacious ensuite bedrooms, large swimming pool and beautiful gardens to explore or relax in. Wine tastings are offered. Your wedding can be organised for you, including: flowers and pressing or steaming of your outfits.

Fairytale Wedding Venue
We had our wedding reception in Chateau du Puits es Pratx August 2024 and had the most amazing weekend.
The venue itself is like something from a fairytale. Its grounds and building are beautiful in a tradition yet modern way. There are so many beautiful nooks and crannies that lend wonderfully to photos and exploring. The surrounding vineyards and roads arched with trees means Gibestas is the perfect place for a wedding. We loved the chateau so much we visited twice for holidays before the wedding even happened.
However, the most spectacular thing about the venue has to be Lily, Luke their family and staff. They were simply excellent. Their knowledge on weddings, organisation and care made our day. We didn’t have to worry about a thing as they took the time to ask is everything in advance, even things we haven’t thought of ourselves.
We absolutely love chateau du puits es Pratx and couldn’t recommend it enough!!

The best wedding venue in France!
We had our wedding here in June 2024, and it was the best weekend of our lives!
From the beginning, Lily was incredible at keeping us super organised and helped us with every step of the planning process. From planning the food, to the decorations, the wedding planning was a breeze thanks to Lily!
During our wedding weekend, Luke, Lily and the whole team were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, the wedding day went smoothly and was stress free thanks to them!
The food throughout the whole weekend was amazing, we particularly loved the BBQ the day after the wedding, and the croquembouche. The wedding breakfast was delicious and was served beautifully. We would recommend doing the family style dinner! All our guests said how tasty all the food was, and what a great amount of options there were to choose from.
Sasha created the most stunning flower displays, bouquets, button holes and table vases for the wedding day. She transformed the courtyard with the flowers and our vision came to life!
We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding at the chateau, it’s a beautiful venue. The grounds are stunning and the swimming pool was perfect for the day after! All the rooms were so lovely and clean. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding.
Our wedding weekend wouldn’t be the weekend it was without all the staff at the chateau, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Stephanie and Liam ensured every guest felt welcome and every glass was topped up! Lily and Luke made sure the whole weekend ran smoothly and cared for our guests so well. We will remember everyone at the chateau for the rest of our lives, thank you for allowing us to create such special memories that we will cherish forever.
