Our 4th trip to this wonderful hotel which doesn’t disappoint. we had a room upgrade to Josephine looking out towards Reims. Beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. Made use of the hot tub before drinks on the terrace and dinner. Huge bed too! Wonderful.

ok

Having seen this hotel all over social media, I was determined to visit. The setting is nothing short of glorious, the welcome from the reception team was great, our room absolutely had the wow factor and you can stroll into the nearby vineyards. But then on in, it's style over substance.
Whilst beautiful, the room was a lacking a shower, the shower gel dispenser had been filled with body lotion, no milk was provided for the coffee, mini bar non alcoholic drinks are complimentary (great) but no bottle opener was provided and we were a cup short. At these prices (over £500 a night for the room we chose), these things should be routinely checked in advance. The terrace is lovely with a glorious sunset - tip, ask for a table on the right hand side to get the best views. You also might find it useful to know that a glass of champagne is 20 euros, whereas you'll be charged between 7 and 12 on the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay and even cheaper in the villages. Those going for the scenic setting expecting a quiet, early night should check their calendar of events. We liked the music, but others may not. The spa tubs were meant to be one hot and one cold, but both were cold due to the heatwave...and slimy on the bottom and with water that was due a refresh. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment - reception informed us that it was a varied and generous buffet plus hot food. The waitress was doing a sterling job single handedly, hot elements were nice but tiny and the buffet was very basic. I'd suggest you save yourself 30 euros a head and go elsewhere. Check out was friendly and efficient, but we weren't asked how our stay was.
All in all, I'm glad we stayed, but we're unlikely to return....if the room price was reduced by 30% we'd feel as though there was value but at such a high price point, they should be delivering more of a seamless, luxury experience and really putting the customer at the heart of their operations.

Reception hotel restaurant Sacy /Marne

Charging station for electric vehicle
Very disappointed with this service. I had reserved an electric charging station the day before, and my reservation had been confirmed. Upon my arrival, the station was unavailable, with no information or alternative solution provided. This situation caused me to waste time and complicated my travel. A reservation service must guarantee the availability of the station or, if not, inform its clients in advance. Very disappointing experience.

4 or 5 rating for Room and Reception, 3 at best for Service at Restaurant

Service at restaurant was poor and disappointing. Only after I complained did things change. I didn’t feel that for a 5 star hotel the service was on par
