The staff were friendly. The food in thier restaurant was good. The location is excellent for the University and the hospital. The bedroom and bathroom were very very small. Old furniture. Alot of insects including spiders.

Unacceptable meals.

I want to share my very disappointing experience at Logis Cottage Hôtel de Nancy. The superior room was great yes, but without special amenities: a classic TV, a standard bed and a sofa. Nothing exceptional.
On the other hand, the stage evening, charged 170 €, proved very disappointing. For this price, which includes night, breakfast and dinner, we are entitled to expect a much higher quality of food and services.
Dinner was unworthy of an establishment presenting itself as a “distinguished table.” The Alsatian salad served was correct, but clearly insufficient compared to the price charged: at this price level, something more worked and more qualitative is expected.
The main course, advertised as bolognese ravioli, was actually a small portion of ravioli accompanied by a simple tomato sauce, without cheese and without flavor. When I pointed out to the waiter that it was not a bolognese sauce, I was told that the meat was in the ravioli... This explanation is surprising to say the least: a real bolognese is a meat sauce, not just a tomato sauce.
I regularly stay in Logis hotels all over France, and I have never encountered such a low price level.
For the rate paid, the gap between what is claimed and what is actually served is enormous and unacceptable. I let you judge for yourself, by looking at the photo, if this type of meal is consistent with a service charged 170 €.
In conclusion, I strongly recommend this hotel especially to professionals who are in the evening stage. At this price level, there is much better in the area.
Go elsewhere and don't lose your money there.

A little disappointed

Too bad there is no coffee machine or kettle to make a little coffee a little above the price for the room too small. The air conditioning made a lot of noise especially when you want to sleep. [I actually hotels my c is the first who ask 15 euros we are not very big eaters then too expensive]

The property was clean, staff were very helpful. I became ill, saw a doctor and needed an emergency phamacy - the staff assisted with this giving us directions to an emergency pharmacist in the area. Also, assisted in being able to stay an extra night for me to recover. Only down side was the restaurant was not open during the weekend.
