A restaurant with rooms
Unfortunately a couple experiences did not meet what you would expect of a five star hotel. Very difficult to have something to drink at the pool. No pro-active service. When I asked reception they told me to go and find a waiter in the restaurant. Since there was a reception going on in the garden I had to go through this crowd in my bathing suit to find someone. Asking reception if this was the process thay said yes.
On our last night of our three night stay all guests had to sit at one side of the restaurant, even on the second row and behind the corner with no view, leaving the nicest tables unavailable. Because it was easier for the staff? And they were the whole evening empty. Totally unacceptable if you charge these prices. Also the table linnen (worn out) and staff uniforms (no uniformity) are in desperate need of investment.
On departure our suitcases were pushed to us on the parking lot from two meters distance by the bell boy. Not a word or assistance putting them in the car. Total opposite of our arrival experience.
So all in all a very nice place but with some very strange and unpleasant experiences. If you charge top prices guests expect top service.
Therefore the conclusion; a restaurant with rooms, don't expect the services you would from a five star hotel.

Depends on your expectation
It is relying on the past. It may have been a wonderful hotel in the 90s but I can tell you that in 2026. There’s way too much of a mixture of Band-Aids trying to keep up there were bugs in my bathroom. The air-conditioning did not work very well. The fan that they brought me was loud. The staff was kind and polite, but minimal. No one offered to help with the bags on departure to put them into the vehicle. They may rely heavily on their restaurant. If you want a three star hotel, but want to pay five star hotel prices. This is definitely the hotel for you. Plastic pool…. Just saying
