Warm welcome in this authentic b&b, welcoming and helpful, nice breakfast, wonderfully stayed! Host gave many tips for the area, places to visit and restaurants, interested in guests without being intrusive. Recommended for those who love authenticity.

Disgusting - DODGE. It's FILTY

This was one of the most disgraceful places I've experienced. From the minute we walked in the door the utter filth was evident. I wish i was prepared enough to take pictures. We were there for less than 25 minutes. The dust and dirt and floors which have not seen a cleaning for years... very evident. The room was a disgrace. Three threadbear towels, with strands falling off. I took the time to signon to Wifi and book an accommodation 30 mimns away. What a difference. The Chateau DeGROSS should be ashamed of what they promote online. SIDENOTE: Booking.com has been great at providing feedback with respect and undestanding,.

Charming period place to stay

This is a great place to stay at if your requirements are not focussed on staying in the lap of luxury. It’s of a certain period which makes it really quite charming. The owner was kindness itself and could not have been more affable and willing to help. The rooms are aged and do not have modern furnishings but we really enjoyed it for a one night stay.

Rural Normandy Chateau

We stayed here the night before we got the keys for our house in Normandy. It was an ideal location; we had a large trailer of furniture which we were able to park safely and with plenty of room. The rooms were exactly what I had imagined them to be like in a rural Norman chateau. Very characterful. Breakfast was good with particularly good selection of cheese. The other guests were all Dutch and it was good that the host understood Dutch. The host was also extremely accommodating about late arrival, overall a relaxing experience in a very special place.

Gorgeous chateau with brilliant host

Pier was a lovely host and couldn’t do more to make us comfortable. The girls (5+7) were delighted at the huge house and gardens, with all the statues. The bedroom was comfortable, warm and with everything we needed. Lovely breakfast too.
Well done Pier, you’re doing a brilliant job!
