Restaurant du Cheval Blanc, charming traditional place

Tasty meal, discovered Jargeau andouillette, very good, specialty with mustard sauce, excellent lamb, and a timely tarte tatin for dessert,... restaurant room with an old-fashioned charm...

Run away!

Hearty buffet breakfast from 7am to 10am? Apparently a lie. As breakfast a tray brought to room m was proposed and well no, I wanted this buffet announced on the website ...
"Parking" badly arranged and looks like a full earth, I had to finally park in the street.
Reception open until 10:00? False again, I arrived at 9:15 p.m. and I was given a code on the phone and left the key on the bedroom door so that I could be autonomous. I wouldn't have seen anyone... Evening and morning....
The street is so noisy...... Or the poorly soundproofed chamber. Sleeping at 12:00 truck, car, people talking like I'm out. And wake up at 6:00 by the same tintamarre.
The bed... I travel a lot... There it is shocking how uncomfortable it was.
The bathroom is tiny and the room does not look like the photos of the site.
I do not recommend at all
The only good thing about what little I saw of the village when I left this morning is that it's really cute

Hotel to avoid if you want comfort and calm

Hotel with 2 stars deserves no more, if you are looking for comfort and calm then to avoid. The windows are waking zero insulation we hear the noises of the outside (cars) and passers-by. The interior insulation is no better and the bedding is very very hard. I do not recommend this establishment at all.

Can’t decide between Poor and terrible - avoid

On motorcycles so not looking for top quality- didn’t get it . Checked restuarant was open (as a Sunday) assured it was and it was not when we arrived. This left us high and dry with only the take away burger option, It was not staffed and was all locked up. Had to call a number which was eventually answered. A lady shuffled along the street to reveal a clean but otherwise typically french offering. The bathroom was oddly very clean and apparently new. Essentially no attempt to actually run a hotel. I will go for poor because the bathroom and shower was okay and room clean. Which actually should be a given.
