The air con didn’t work (although it was not crazy hot that night, but shouldn’t be advertised as having air con). It stank of cigarette smoke everywhere, if you have a bedroom at the front you can’t open the window as everyone smokes right out the front, so smoke blows into your window.
We don’t mind cheap and cheerful but you can still make sure everything is clean and maintained even with cheap and cheerful.

I have never experienced anything like this at a hotel. I had travelled for nearly 20 hours with my children and arrived around 2am, having already told the hotel we would be arriving late. All I wanted was to get into our room and get my exhausted children to bed.
Instead, the self-check-in machine said I had already checked in, even though I hadn't. I couldn't get a key because I didn't have a reservation or room number. I tried the emergency number provided by the hotel — nobody answered.
Eventually, I found a reservation number through the machine and managed to get a key, but there was still no room number. At 2am, exhausted and with my children, I was left with no choice but to try the key on different rooms.
The hotel itself was extremely concerning: multiple doors were standing open with apparently broken locks, there were numerous missing ceiling tiles, and the place smelled awful.
Eventually, I found a door the key opened. There was already someone inside.
The fact that a key issued to me could open an occupied guest's room is absolutely shocking. This is not just poor service — it is a serious security and safety failure. I had no confidence that someone else couldn't do the same to me or my children.
After around an hour of trying to resolve the situation with nobody available to help, I left and had to drive around at 2–3am to find another hotel.
I have requested a full refund and reimbursement. No response

But room was very dated
Air conditioner not working
No hand soap containers there but soap was impossible to get out
Room needed a good clean
Bathroom shower head was not holding up dropping off
Walls were not clean
Overall not good experience
No towels

Sink drained very slowly...probably partially clogged. Only soap dispenser didn't work. Maintenance needed!
Received handicapped room (wasn't required) right above hotel entry. Disturbed until around 21:00 by people smoking and gabbing below. Also heard entry door constantly slamming.
A LOT of furniture moving, children screaming...generally a noisy place.
