Lovely Lens Louvre
Walk to the east gate through a curving path She did on both sides by trees. As you approach the green, casual garden is in contrast to the glass and concrete building.
Inside you’ll be enchanted by whatever is on display as this is a museum of temporary exhibitions.
The exhibits are in one huge room arranged in a timeline and you can stroll through at your leisure.

Everything Well Thought Out
I can only speak about our studio but for us this place had everything we needed and more.
They had managed to fit plenty of facilities in to a small space.
The very comfortable bed faced a large screen tv and we had two cooking rings, a toaster, microwave and even two bar stools and a surface large enough for us to eat an evening meal and breakfast.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower very good.
Wifi also worked perfectly well.
What more could you want as a stopover after a long drive back through France.
Not the fault of the property but my wife did comment on the traffic noise throughout the night which didn't affect me, 'allegedly' but we are country folk and Lens is definitely a town.
One final point that you might want to check out is you need a code to get your key to get in to the flats and we panicked that it hadn't been sent to us by e-mail. We rang the number and in best Frainglaisse had to leave a message on an ansaphone. We did get the number sent through but please be warned.

Nice...
Tus is a very comfortable stay for a family for a night (if you chose to say in Lens!!) Very Clean and Comfortable and we found parkng easy enough on road outside accommodation. Only issue is we could not access wifi.

Airy and comfortable
Considering the town is not blessed with many interesting places to stay, this apartment (one of four in the same building) was comfortable, well-equipped, light, everything you could wish for at a reasonable price. If you are looking for cosiness, character, luxury or more, then you may be disappointed, and I suggest you probably would want to stay somewhere a little more expensive, but, if you are not expecting the Ritz then the apartment is fine. It is a short walk from the main town shopping street and further from the Louvre Lens itself than its name would imply, but the walk is interesting and worth making. The weather was cold and wet while we were there, but we could imagine lying on the balcony (no views to speak of) soaking up the sun on a summer day. It is a town maisonette and as such is fine for a short stay. The host was very welcoming too.

Weekend in lens
Last minute booking as our first choice had let us down. Not sure who designed the layout of the studio but it's totally wrong. The TV is in the wrong place, the bed faces the wrong way and the tiny bathroom is like a forgotten afterthought. It is bright and clean and a super cold fridge, but other than that it is a bit of a disaster. Wifi is good once you get the password.
