Very disappointed, fleeing.
- Old apartments, no decoration, no kind of welcoming effort or comfort, nothing is functional, everything is DIY.
- Very low quality clicklac in the living room, blankets and cushions not removable and never cleaned in years. We literally “see” the dirt.
- No practical effort: addition of a bunch of sockets absolutely not secure in the kitchen to be able to connect coffee maker, oven, toaster, kettle because very few sockets in the apartment. I add that all these utensils do not even fit on the kitchen bar which is clearly not intended for this. Dinc basically is camping, there is everything everywhere.
Bed top in a terrible condition.
You are finally asked to do the best you can, no one checks anything, no satisfaction questionnaire is sent to tenants after departure - which leaves the unpleasant feeling that you feel like a tenant who pays we don't care.
Welcome and comfort camping level. Outright consumer contempt.

Stay somewhere else
The reservations process was hard work, the hotel was not responsive and I had to chase them for confirmation. The check-in process was an example of how not to (very abrupt, not welcoming). The first room we were checked into smelled of sick and we were allocated another room. The room are small and basic, small towels, toiletries are in sachets and look cheap and nasty, no face flannels and no tissues, just the basics. Breakfast buffet was not good, poor quality food generally and a lack of variety e.g. hard croissants, 3 cereals, no muesli, I had the cornflakes and imagine cardboard tastes better. I spoke to the manager mid stay as I was not happy. He completely dismissed my feedback and told me I was wrong on certain matters e.g. he told me housekeeping were right to bang on my door at 11 am to service my room, even though the 'do not disturb' sign was on it, as they do not work in the afternoon (surely this is something one could be told at check-in so if fresh towels are required arrangements can be made?). Also, over a 4 night stay the key card had to be reprogrammed twice, the manager told us it is normal to have it reprogrammed after every 2 nights (only in the Panoramic!). The highlight of my stay was when one member of staff asked to speak to me because she was 'very angry' with the feedback I had provided to the manager on the check-in. She then told me she could have left me in the room that smelled of sick! I could go on and on, but I think I have painted the picture, it is not a hotel to recommend to loved ones or strangers! My final point is that it advertises itself as a 3 star hotel, most websites I have seen today rate it as 2 star, from my experience it is a very basic 2 star.

unloved Hotel
The food was average to poor, try to miss the fondue evening unless you like warm cheese and nothing else, getting a drink from the bar was difficult if the receptionist was off duty or doing other duties, the rooms were basic, just a bed with a television high up on the wall, no home comforts and the hotel feels unloved by the owner, yes the hotel is fine if all you want is a bed and very little else, the staff do try and be helpful, but this is limeted, we found the entrance (Lobby) blocked with cars most of the time, and the lighting to be poor, are you getting the picture? at £150 per room per night you expect a little more from a 3 star hotel, the bed was hard and had a ridge across it. Some if not most of the 2 star hotels in Chapelle Abondance 2 miles away, were better than this one, so look up these before deciding.

Oreilles sensibles s'abstenir....
Sinon très bien placé, au pied des pistes, des commerces, d'Angléo et appartement petit mais fonctionnel. Dommage pour le bruit, nous ne reviendrons pas !!!
