Ok, it was cheap (£80) so I don’t know what I should have been expecting but I was disappointed. I booked a single occupancy room but the photos showed a double bed so I felt hopeful. I actually had a single bed, which although not what I was expecting, was not necessarily a problem. The room however was dated and tiny, no aircon, no proper curtains so it was light from about 4am, they did provide a bottle of water but no tea or coffee making facilities.
The bathroom is so small it’s barely useable for even a solo slim person. Had I been larger, or staying with someone it would have been awful. There were hairs on the walls of the shower, a shower curtain which sticks to you as the shower isn’t big enough to move away from it. There isn’t enough room for your legs when sitting on the toilet, and the sink is tiny.
The bed was firm which I liked, but I was bitten multiple times overnight and I’m not sure if that’s due to bed bugs or mosquitos…
Overall I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel is by the side of a church and is pedestrianised on 3 sides so it is quiet at night if your room is on one of those sides. I loved the old fashioned reception .The breakfast is buffet style .You cannot get a full English but the french pastries are lovely. Ideal if you want a hotel that is truly french, although reception speak English as well.

Great location. Only a 10mins walk from Lille Europe station. The hotel is very clean and amazingly nice friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The dining room was clean and the manager very pleasant. The single room was ok but although the shower was powerful im not a big fan of shower curtains that stick to you. I prefer a solid door. Welcome bottle of water and very polite reception. I’m going back.
