A small hotel inn Lisieux on one of the hottest days of the year so the room was hot despite a good fan that was provided. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant provided a decent meal. Continental breakfast. Good location and fine for a one night stop.

Avoid

Quite a horrible hotel
Old-fashioned, not very clean, humidity everywhere with the smell and the dehumidifier that does not work...

Hotel worthy of the Middle Ages.

Old room, polystyrene ceiling, stained wall, as well as old carpet.
Filthy bathroom with, on top of that, water inversions between cold and hot. The cherry on the cake is the TV that doesn't work on the day of the France-Sweden football match.
Breakfast at 12 euros per person, just blatant theft given the state of the buffet.
The only positive point is the friendly welcome at the entrance.
Avoid at all costs.

I do not recommend it.

Despite the good location of the hotel, we are absolutely not satisfied with the service that was offered to us, given that we specifically booked this hotel to have dinner there and also to have our breakfast. What a surprise it was when we learned that the kitchen was closed that very evening without being informed during our room reservation, which was made by phone. Moreover, the next morning when we went to breakfast, it was the same as the day before; we were alone in the hotel, the owner was not present, no one at the front desk, we found a cook who confirmed that there was no breakfast that morning.
The room we were in showed signs of dampness and mold...
I do not find this acceptable for a restaurant hotel rated 3 stars on Booking.

Hotel to renovate

The rooms could really use a very big renovation.
Holes in the walls, water problem in the shower room.
Uncomfortable bedding
