An excellent stay in a beautiful house just next to Bruno Restaurant
A luxury experience at a budget price!
We booked this room because of its proximity to Chez Bruno, the truffle king. If you are planing for dinner there, stay here. If you are planning to stay here, dine there for an excellent and filling lunch or diner. We are so pleased we chose B&B Maison Brora.
We arrived to the blue gate. Shiona ran out to meet us, and welcome us to the house. She showed us our room and bathroom, around the property (lovely pool and breakfast area), introduced us to the cute little dog, and offered us a glass of wine and conversation.
There are a few rooms. We stayed in the blue room overlooking the pool. It was lovely. The bed was super comfortable, and equipped with a mosquito net just in case. I didn't observe any mosquitoes. The bathroom has both shower and tub, and toilet, in one room which makes it easy for guests in the morning and evening. There are two sinks, which is great when you travel with a partner who splashes all over. Really, lovely accommodation.
From the moment we arrived, everything we needed was offered without question. My dinner dress was wrinkled, and they set up an amazing steam iron (I need that exact model) and showed me to use it in moments. My partner had brought a french cuff shirt and no cufflinks. A beautiful selection (that you couldn't even buy outside of Bergdorf Goodman in the US) were offered. We had some trouble with our room key before dinner, and they turned up at the restaurant to return us the key!
Above and beyond 5 star service!!! We would absolutely recommend B&B Maison Brora lodge, and would stay here again!

Wonderful experience in a charming French house!
Maison Brora was a gorgeous house - it has everything I was looking for and more. My room was beautifully finished - clean, charming and the decor was classic-chic and very typically provincial.
The pool was very inviting although I did not go in (it since it was not hot enough) but I did enjoy a wonderful breakfast outside every morning. Croissants, baguette, jams and cheeses from the local village and the coffee was the best I've had.
The hosts were a lovely British couple, very friendly and welcoming and they gave me lots of information about where to go - where best to find things, best way to get there etc. They were really helpful.
The village, Lorgue was delightful! A typically French village with people sitting outside in the many cafes. There was a fantastic market on Tuesdays which I was recommended to go to by my hosts...and it did not disappoint. Also there are banks, beautiful little shops and even a cinema.
I will definitely be back here!

Paradis ou ce ressource
Un accueil chaleureux,très belle endroit,calme avec un magnifique grande piscine entouré de joli arbres fruitier et oliviers.
Très belle grande chambre avec un lit confortable.
Belle grande salle de bain,équipée de douche et baignoire spa ….,
Super petit déjeuner devant la piscine.
Madame Shona tres tres sympa douce et calme.
Vrai artiste avec magnifique tableau partout.
Je me suis super reposé pendant deux jours!

Hallucinant
Nous sommes arrivé et nous avons eu droit a un accueil très chaleureux, sauf qu on nous annonce que le studio que nous avions loué n est finalement plus disponible et qu il ne reste qu une chambre avec un lit double mais qu on aura un lit d appoint en plus. malgres le fait que la proprietaire n est pas eu la correction de nous prevenir avant nous decidons de rester, on passe le week-end entre copine ça peut etre drôle. .. le soir nous partons manger à l exterieur et la propriétaire nous dit qu elle installera le lit Quand nous serons parti. Qu elle surprise quand nous sommes rentré en pleine nuit et que nous avons decouvert que le lit d appoint etait en fait un transat de piscine recouvert d un drap!!! Et comme geste commercial nous avons eu droit la taxe de sejour en cadeau (environ 3 euros). De plus le menage est approximatif le petit déjeuné servi tard et sans aucun intérêt. Le cadre est magnifique dommage que le service ne soit pas à la hauteur .

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette charmante maison, accueil formidable de ce couple de retraités écossais, la déco est raffinée, le lit confortable, la salle de bains est de tout confort (douche et baignoire d'angle). Nous y retournerons l'été pour profiter de la piscine... Nous avons dîné chez Bruno, la maison se trouve à 200 mètres à peine du restaurant.
Nous vous recommandons ce lieu.

We spent one night in this charming house, great welcome of this couple of Scottish retired man, the decoration is refined, the confortable bed, the bathroom is of any comfort (shower and bathtub of angle). We shall return it the summer to take advantage of the swimming pool... We had dinner at Bruno's, the house is in 200 meters hardly of the restaurant. We recommend you this place.
