information for new tenants

This Inn could use some renovations elevator too small , one seat! welcome , excellent half board meals ! secure parking , but few places ! however do not leave cash in the rooms during your absences , because it disappears !

Faded but good value

I was welcomed at Hotel de Nevers without having to wait. Family members run the hotel and everyone was friendly. Inexpensive accommodation in the centre of Lourdes with easy road access. Parking is secure but there is a fee.
Decoration, both inside and out, is in need of a redo. The room was clean with an adequate ensuite and comfy bed. The old world charm has gone too old world but it has character. The tiny lift in a cage is reminiscent of French thriller movies of the last century.
Breakfast was not a buffet at this season, just bread, jam, croissant and coffee served at the table. Table needed to be booked for dinner but there are lots of places to eat nearby.
WiFi worked in room as well as in the lounge. The heating had not been turned on in the room so it was cold when I first arrived.
I stayed for the secure parking and value when travelling alone so I was not disappointed but I would not stay here with the vegetarian who likes more refinement.

Never again!

Never got that bad hotel experience before!
We made a reservation for these hotel 1 year in advance for 12 rooms.
One week in front of our trip we got information about a "mistake" with our booking and we are asked to share rooms.
At the end we had booked single bed rooms to share with 2 aditional people.
There was another spanish bus group which seems to be more important for the hotel.
Never again (and we are going every year to Lourdes)
Finest thing was the hotel was not able to make a regular bill for all rooms according to international rules.

Very Friendly Staff

We stayed here for 1 night in June 2018. The hotel is old and has a certain charm and the lift wouldn`t be out of place in an Agatha Christie movie. I found the owners extremely helpful and friendly and would score it higher but it needs upgrading. The beds were clean and the rooms spacious.This is also a pet friendly hotel.

Nice place but it needs some repairs

Nice hotel, close to the train station and also to the city centre. Great staff, very helpfull. It's kind of strange that the floors at first storey are crooked, looks like the hotel is downhill.
The room is clean, enough space and warm.
