Good establishment.

Pleasant establishment. Very warm welcome. Pleasant and well-decorated rooms.
The breakfast room on the ground floor next to the reception is less pleasant than the one on the first floor.
Good natural orange juice. As for the rest, few original and local products. Other Mercure hotels offer better, less standardized breakfasts.

passing through

We were passing through Lyon during a group tour and stayed overnight at the Mercure Centre Lumiere. Nothing particularly remarkable. Bedroom and bathroom (no bidet as used in France) small, double made of two narrow singles. All in order but on a lower standard than I would expect from a Mercure.

Wonderful breakfast buffet and much more beyond expectations for a five-star welcome

When you are passionate about photography and cinema and you find yourself in this wonderful location with the memorabilia of the birth of Cinema you are enchanted Excellent value for money. Exceptional breakfast buffet with the possibility of making yourself a nice orange juice or DIY eye eggs. Room spotless and comfortable bed.
