An institution, and the best truffle around!

I spend every year in the region, and it is always a pleasure to stop at La Cracklère. For me, it has become a real institution!
The setting is beautiful with the view of the lake, the always friendly Welcoming and the cuisine... a real treat. Special mention for the truffle, certainly the best around! Generous, tasty and perfectly controlled. Every meal here is a warm and authentic moment, true to the Auvergne spirit. I recommend without hesitation to anyone who wants to discover real local cuisine in an exceptional setting.

Enjoyable stay

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean, nice, overlooking the lake.
We enjoyed the good breakfast, with varied jams and homemade, installed on the terrace in peace.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Meals are plentiful, varied, there is something for everyone! and desserts are all just as good as each other. Despite the crowd at the restaurant, we were served quickly, the waiters and waitresses were professional.
We recommend without hesitation!

We hadn't been there in a while and still so pleasant.
Hearty plates, homemade products, the Welcoming always as pleasant.

A good place for lunch

We had a very enjoyable lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake. Good local dishes and excellent service. The wine list is limited but you can order some wines by the glass. The view is superb and there a pleasant paths along the lake for a walk post- lunch.

Wonderful friendly hotel with excellent food

What a wonderful friendly hotel with great views over the lake. Stunning hanging baskets and delicious food, very comfortable and charming staff. Great location for walks or trips along the water.
