Disconnection, beauty of the site, friendliness of the staff
The setting is magnificent, calm, and perfectly maintained, ideal for recharging. The staff was particularly welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout the stay.
We also greatly appreciated the quality of the dining at the Bistrot as well as the comfort of the room. Everything is designed to ensure a pleasant moment in an elegant and warm atmosphere.
A very beautiful place that we recommend without hesitation, both for a weekend as a couple and with family.

The approach to the property is impressive, with a grand château and beautiful grounds giving a strong first impression. However, inside the hotel feels dated and lacks a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in the Relais section, which, despite being marketed as family-friendly, felt basic and more in line with a 3 * hotel than a luxury château.
Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and sofa bed suitable for our family. However, the décor was basic, and the door was faulty and extremely difficult to open—an issue that was not acknowledged by staff, despite being apparent. Given the low occupancy, an alternative room would have been appreciated.
Although advertised as family-friendly, the hotel was more suited to older golfing guests. The atmosphere was quiet and somewhat formal, and staff interactions were limited and not especially welcoming.
Breakfast was underwhelming, with a limited selection of pastries, cereal, yoghurt and the hot selection was just ham and eggs, which did not meet expectations for a hotel of this standard.
We did enjoy the pool and the driving range with our children, though the lack of poolside service and a less-than-friendly interaction when borrowing golf clubs detracted from the experience.
In summary, while the setting is attractive, the accommodation, service, and overall atmosphere did not justify the expectations, and we will not be returning.

The extraordinary setting and a happiness for us golfers, with 27 holes very well maintained and a very good welcome at the pro shop
