Montpeyroux pretty village to visit!
Lovely, clean and spacious home. The welcome from the owner is warm, kind and attentive. Special time around a hearty and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend ! Montpeyroux, the most popular village in France, a stopover not to be missed!

A pretty village but The Scarf of Iris could do better
Very friendly welcome from the mistress
The room is spacious. Decoration very charged with objects and furniture from flea market, a small Louvre no less than 13 works of masters or crusts, a bed in 140 cm comfortable.
The threshold bar separating the cement tiles from the parquet can be can make the night fall when one is ill awake
The housekeeper must be angry with the wolf's head and the broom: spiders on the ceiling and minons not dating from the day before near the skirting boards.
A large bathroom / toilet with riquiqui washbasin.
Nothing to put down the toiletries.
No deodorant bomb
Towels from the 1950s
Remember to lower the curtain. The owner likes to go and remove the wilted flowers under the window as customers do their ablutions.
Three cars in the yard. My husband was asked to move his car while he was in the shower to allow another client to leave. There is another gate where it would have been possible to park the last vehicle arriving.
The “minimum union” breakfast served in the dining room when it is already good outside. Not crisp bread (no toaster available) butter and 4 jams we were not offered pastries, this plus B fruit juice, cereals or cold cuts.
Arriving late I was not offered a table in the only restaurant open that evening.
We met tourists visiting PLUS BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE DE FRANCE The Scarf of Iris a plan, leaving the Room of Iris the hostess could have proposed one.
It is for these reasons that I only assign a score of 2 to this bed and breakfast.

Disgraceful - Avoid at all costs
I booked this place about six weeks in advance of my visit and they took my full payment two weeks in advance.
After spending a very long day travelling I arrived at the appointed time to check in only to be “greeted” by the owner who told me she had no room for me and I couldn’t stay. There was no communication from the owner in advance of any kind and nothing on the day. They simply let me turn up to the middle of rural France at 5:30 pm.
She had arranged for me to stay with a contact of hers instead. This is of course not what I was expecting and not what I’d paid for.
I had arranged this through Booking.Com who are also completely ignoring my complaint.
Avoid this place like the plague. Disgraceful.
