Great place

We stayed with Freja and Jonny in August and fell in love with the place: charming and welcoming hosts, great comfort room, very well appointed and beautifully decorated common areas, late afternoon snack available, excellent cuisine, full breakfasts, spa... and very nice views of the whole valley. Everything is done to make us feel good and it's successful. Good job!

Amazing yet again!!

Absolutely outstanding once again — this was our third time staying with Freja and Jonny at Chalet l’Aiglon, and we loved it more than ever!
The chalet is immaculate, warm, and incredibly comfortable — every detail is spot on. Freja and Jonny go above and beyond in every way. They’re so helpful, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment you arrive, it feels like you’re being welcomed into their amazing home, not just a holiday rental.
The food was, once again, absolutely incredible — beautifully cooked meals for the adults and delicious, thoughtful options for the little ones at tea time. Also, packed lunches on request are mega helpful!
We love the awesome mountain views from the chalet and the close proximity to the resort centre. And there’s the added joy of having Wolf and Biscuit (the chalet dogs) around for a few friendly pats and cuddles.
And of course, La Rosière itself is a brilliant ski resort — fantastic slopes, great atmosphere, and perfect for families. If you’re thinking of coming, do it— you’ll have a brilliant time staying with Freja and Jonny. We can’t recommend Chalet l’Aiglon highly enough! See you again next year!!

An amazing stay at Chalet l'Aiglon

We've just returned from an amazing stay at Chalet l'Aiglon in La Rosière, hosted by Freja and Jonny, who went out of their way to help us with every aspect of our holiday.
This was our first time in La Rosière and we enjoyed the uncrowded pistes, the sunshine and the opportunity to ski into Italy. The easy return route, high in the mountains, is breathtaking.
Everything about the chalet is perfect - views of the mountains and sunsets from our bedroom window and balcony, and from the living room and dining area; the varied breakfasts and delicious homemade cakes in the afternoon, and the optional 3-course evening meals which were divine and inventive, given my vegetarian status. Everyone around the table raved about Freya's cooking!
There's a spa room with hot tub, sauna and hammam, heated boot room and easy access to the slopes, plus an amazing third level to the chalet with glass floor, floor to ceiling windows and a telescope to look out over the mountains. We cannot recommend a stay here more highly.

A magnificent chalet with modern and traditional decoration, a perfect Breakfast.
And really helpful hosts, really available and very nice.
Really recommend, we will be back with great pleasure!
