Sporting hotel in March

We stayed end of March so there was no snow in the village but is only a 10 min walk into town and north gondolas easy to get too. Snow up the mountain was still great btw!
Hotel was just ideal, we loved the sauna and steam room. Swimming pool was heated and there’s a pool table in the lounge area.
Beds are super comfy, room was clean. Hotel always smelt lovely!!! (Would be a nice touch to include milk in the room with the tea/coffee.) And breakfast was really nice, lots of choice of hot and cold.
We loved the dog and the staff were helpful when my partner had an accident. Would visit again.

Fantastic Dog Friendly Hotel

Had the most amazing stay here in February . We drove over with 2 springer spaniels and it was truly amazing . The hotels 2 dogs are both beautiful and was lovely to see them socialising with our two !
The ‘snack’ food that is available at the hotel is absolutely delicious, all homemade , we loved the lasagne and tartdefluette .
The room was beautiful and we couldn’t fault our stay .

A great place to stay while visiting the mountains…

We stayed here in Feb 2026 for a week’s skiing which was booked with Crystal. The whole week was excellent and the hotel was a large part of that.
On arrival, our room (Room 25) was ready early and, although small given the age of the property, were clean, very comfortable, had a great view and a spacious balcony to enjoy it from.
Food: The food (breakfast) was typically continental, very tasty and had a great range of breads and cheeses and good coffee which is essential. There were a range of local dishes available from the bar if you wanted a lunch or evening meal which were excellent. As we were leaving early for our flight, they were more than happy to provide a snack for the journey to the airport.
Facilities: The boot room here was well appointed, with heated boot racks, coat hooks and even lockers if you wanted them. There is also a Sauna, Steam Room and swimming pool which is free to use. Although heated, clearly the half outdoor pool was a little chilly for our liking in the beginning of February but the sauna and steam room were very much appreciated to help recover from a long day’s skiing.
Location: Although not ski-in, ski-out, when there is sufficient snow you could almost get to the door at the end of the day but turning off the Retour des Nantes ski run off the bottom of the Fys lift. Other than that it was a 400m / 5 min walk to the Pleney lift, or a 10 min walk to the Super Morzine to get to Avoriaz. The hotel also has a bus stop outside to take advantage of the numerous free buses to get around the resort. It is far enough away to not get disturbed by the lively Après scene in town but not too far way to be inconvenient.
We booked passes and ski hire through Crystal but the hotel offered discounts if you book directly via them.
The hotel is family owned and has been for over 100 years I believe and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They don’t like food being taken out of the restaurant or taking your own alcohol into your rooms which isn’t unreasonable, it didn’t bother us but it may be an issue for some. And the owners also have dogs which were super friendly and welcoming but again, it may be an issue for anyone wary of dogs.
Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay in this busy resort, and we had a great week!

Charming, relaxing hotel close to slopes

Very welcome staff and owners. Hugely helpful in sorting out lift passes, ski hire with great discounts and restaurant recommendations, which were excellent.
Very good breakfast to set you up for a day in the slopes. Far better than usual fare in average ski hotels.
We had a room at the top which was very spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable and so after enjoying the sauna and steam room, managed to rest weary limbs very well.
Main tow a short walk away.
Definitely be back!
