Great overnight to position to tour Giverny the next morning

Although we arrived much later than anticipated the host was very accommodating. Our two caravans were ready and waiting. Cleanliness, comfort and many small amenities were provided such as light snacks, coffee, tea, dish soap and other necessities. We were provided with directions to a nearby town for a restaurant that was open. At 2100 hours on a Sunday evening this was no small feat. The beds were comfortable and our first night in France passed confortably.

RUN AWAY!

The ideal campsite if you like unsanitary conditions in the restrooms (1 sink completely clogged with trash that stayed for at least 4 days, the trash can that is never emptied, and the toilets that are not sealed...), overflowing trash cans with the rodents that go with them...
2 restroom modules: 1 with water and the other with scalding water. I advise you to take your shower between the 2... Oh wait no, that's the trash room with an unbearable smell that was not emptied during our 5-day stay.

Unsanitary campground

Unsanitary campground, restrooms overflowing with filth, trash cans never emptied, rodents wandering around in the tents, and don't even get me started on the trash areas... we stayed there for 5 days, no cleaning or trash collection service. The restrooms are so dirty that you have to shower with flip-flops on, and as for hot water, it is non-existent. If you want nature, ivy is growing into the toilets, which, by the way, are not even bolted down... stay away!!

Zero stars

Five days spent at this campsite, and five days too many.
The state of the restrooms is simply disgraceful. Omnipresent filth, showers that alternate between ice-cold and scalding water with no possible adjustment, plumbing that leaks everywhere... You get the impression that maintenance is totally abandoned.
The toilets are supposedly cleaned, but a simple pressure wash does not replace a real cleaning. The result is far from the hygiene standards that one has the right to expect.
The worst part remains the atmosphere. Some occupants, who seem to live there year-round, behave as if they were alone in the world: noise, lack of respect, and no consideration for vacationers. Management lets it happen, which says a lot about the quality of the management.
This campsite gives a general impression of neglect and amateurism. Between dilapidated facilities, deplorable hygiene, and a total lack of nuisance management, it is hard to understand how this establishment can still welcome vacationers.
Avoid if you are looking for a minimum of comfort, cleanliness, and tranquility.

Tranquil location with birdsong

We arrived earlier than expected the helpful English speaking owner provided us with coffee whilst we waited for static caravan to be vacated. Walked our dog along the banks of River Seine from campsite. The caravan was clean, light and very comfortable, ideally located for seeing Giverny and good supermarkets in Mousseaux sur Seine.
The picnic table on the timber decking terrace attached to the caravan was a very pleasant place to eat and drink the local wine. There are just hotplates and microwave, no oven.
