Very beautiful establishment, charm, comfort, kindness

A top-notch weekend for grandparents and their two grandchildren aged 5 and 9:
- connecting rooms, pretty, comfortable, well-equipped with double sinks, showers, and separate toilets
- delicious meals and breakfasts in a beautiful dining room with a neat round table, in a pretty nook
- beautiful location above the Loue, with easy parking, near pretty walks, enhanced by the flights, cries, and nests of swallows.
And little touches very much appreciated by the children...

A beautiful and sincere experience.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is extremely warm, attentive, and always attentive to the needs of the guests. The dining is excellent, both for meals and breakfast, with quality products.
I also greatly appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the exceptional setting of the establishment. The environment is beautiful, and the view is simply splendid, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.
A very beautiful experience that I will not hesitate to repeat and recommend.

Too much of anything they still set up tables still places gents instead of serving those who booked and still awaits the rest..

Stupendous view from basic rooms attached to good restaurant

The hotel rooms themselves are very basic - though clean - and inexpensive. There are no facilities or public space. It’s on a fairly busy road (daytime only)
But the view from the rooms is stupendous and definitely worth staying for. Probably all rooms have balconies but you definitely need one.
The eponymous cascade isn’t on site but definitely worth a journey. Come out of hotel, turn right into village, take right fork to steps down, then a rough path down and along for about 15 minutes. You can drive the steep bit but it’s probably not worth it. You can take a plunge in the river but it is “jolly” (expletive deleted” cold.
The dinner is good and very French. Also in a dining room with the same view - but you need to be there at 1900 when the restaurant opens to be able to snaffle a table with a view - we weren’t.
Breakfast was good and varied with delicious Mirtilli jam and unusual muesli. Avoid the cappuccino which comes with hot chocolate and is weird. Probably best to stick to tea tbh.

Superb stay

Superb stay of 2 nights to spend New Year's Eve there. We come from Belgium and we were very well received. The meals are excellent and we will gladly return.
