Really good and affordable hotel

Very central and well located on the large promenade Jean Medecin at the train station and with tram stop directly outside. We did not experience the people outside at all disturbing. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Free coffee and water bottles in the breakfast room throughout the stay we greatly appreciated! Ask for a room at the top and you will get the best view and cool balcony, especially on the corner!

A Fully Paid Booking, Yet We Were Asked to Leave

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel64Nice. Although our room had already been fully paid for, we were asked to leave because my Mastercard was temporarily unavailable for the security deposit. I offered to pay the deposit in cash, but the receptionist refused, saying it was the hotel’s policy. We spent nearly an hour trying to explain the situation, but there was no flexibility, understanding, or even an apology. This was the most unprofessional hotel experience I have ever had. I will not recommend Hotel64Nice. I hope future guests are treated with more respect and professionalism.

Bof! But well located

The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. Close to the train station which facilitates access to the entire French Riviera.
On Avenue Jean Doctor for shopping and access to Old Nice and the Promenade des Anglais
For the hotel itself it is very basic! We had booked a junior suite if we can call it a suite. Tiny room with 2 big armchairs that take the whole living room part... not even a kettle or coffee maker.
Besides, very poorly soundproofed. You participate in the conversation from the top room when you are in the shower....
The breakfast very basic but good. Do not expect to have a feast in the morning.
In short a hotel to spend a night or 2 but no more

The sleepless night

We left our luggages at the hotel as early check in wasn't possible. But the receptionist was so careless after he put our luggages on the floor, he stepped on my backpack twice. When we came back around 4pm, we still had to wait another 15 minutes together with other guests for our room keys to be ready. Our room was spacious and bright on 5/F, except the view was quite unimpressive. Okay, we just kept the curtains and windows closed. Since the location suited our purpose, we decided to extend 2 nights in Nice and not to change hotel to save the fuss. However, this was the reason why we gave this hotel one star. I found cockroach hiding behind between the desk and fixed planks at the last night of our stay and the hotel staff couldn't catch them. It was right before our bedtime at midnight. We were told the hotel was full and we're given a small single room. We took it anyway as we didn't want something crawling on our faces when sleeping. Roughly after 2am we checked in to the single room and could finally call it a day.
