Perfect base for exploring Nice and the wider area.

Great family room, brilliant size with a curtain so you could divide into sections. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels, beds made and bins emptied. Excellent spot for the tram and the train if staying and planning on visiting Nice and other areas. We enjoyed the pool area, always able to get a sun lounger. Free tea, coffee and popcorn in the bar area. Water fountains/dispensers in many areas of the hotel which was great. Two mins walk to the tram at Parc Phoenix, 5 mins to the train Saint Augustin. There isn’t much near the hotel but there is a carrefour city and a nice boulangerie in walking distance and if you buy a pass it’s perfect for hopping on and off and going all over the area. We loved the beach at Carras which was just a few tram stops away. We also enjoyed visiting Menton, Antibes, Villefranche-sur-mer, Beaulieu-sur-mer and Monaco. Had some great meals in Mezza Rosa, Carpe Diem, Lou Colonial and That’s Amore in Nice. We would definitely return.

Basic. One night was more than enough.

We stayed here for one night before we were due to fly home from nice. Overall the rooms were ok (standard) which you would expect from the price anyway. Bathrooms felt like a cabin on a boat with a sliding door which was very strange. When we arrived we weren’t allowed to check in until later so we left our bags and went to grab some food. The lady on reception did not explain anything about the hotel, where the pool was, when breakfast was, how to even get to our room, absolutely nothing which I thought was very poor as this should be standard procedure from a receptionist in a hotel. She basically just took the payment and came across quite rude. We found ourselves having to look for the pool which we had no idea where it was and we also had no clue when check out was, on the day we were meant to check out a cleaner just barged into our room !!! The toilets in reception were a disgrace there was rubbish, sanitary towels left out, no toilet roll, cigarette ash all over the floor it was disgusting.

We completely understand your frustration, particularly after travelling, and we apologize if the service you received felt impersonal or unfriendly. A clear explanation of the hotel facilities and services should indeed be part of the check-in experience.
We are also very sorry about the housekeeping interruption on the morning of your departure. This should not have happened, and we understand that it was uncomfortable for you.
Concerning the cleanliness of the reception toilets, please accept our sincere apologies. The situation you describe is clearly not up to our usual standards, and your comments have been shared with the housekeeping team so that extra attention can be given to these areas throughout the day.
As for the room design, our suites have a more contemporary and functional layout, which can sometimes feel different from a more traditional hotel room. We understand that this may not suit everyone’s taste.
We nevertheless hope you were able to appreciate our convenient location close to the airport for your short stay in Nice, and we would be pleased to welcome you again in the future for a smoother and more enjoyable experience.

I want to start off by saying I really appreciate the hotel having an early check-in for us. The property itself was clean but I don’t know that I would stay there again for a few reasons. The bathroom makes me feel like I’m in an airplane or a caravan. When I made my reservation, I chose the room with a double bed and a twin bed. When we got to the room, it was a double bed and a sofa bed. After reviewing my confirmation, it just said a room with multiple beds. So even though they have the option to specifically pick what room I want when booking (sofa vs twin) , the system just automatically generalizes it and you get what you get. The problem with the sofa option is there is too much furniture. I’m sure it works if the bed is not pulled out, but we had to rearrange the room and stash the dining table and chairs so that we could even walk around the room or get into our luggage.

We’ve stayed only one night but we enjoyed the pool facilities in the morning before taking the road.
The staff were really helpful and friendly!

Novotel Suites Nice Airport - June 2026

Spent 2 nights at Novotel Suites Nice Airport as a couple before heading to Cannes. Room was spacious and spotless, staff were polite and helpful throughout. Bathrooms have a caravan-style material - practical and easy to keep clean. We used the car park (shared with neighbouring hotels) and staff were great about explaining how to switch tickets for the cheaper rate. Didn’t get to try the pool since we were out exploring Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Villefranche, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Only downside: no lift from the car park up to the lobby — a small addition that would go a long way. Solid base for exploring the area.
