Comfortable and elegant

We stayed at this chambre d'hôte whilst staying two nights in Nuits St. George's. It is in a quiet location on the edge of the town and very convenint for visiting the local vineyards and the town of Beaune. It is a fine house set in a peaceful garden. Everything here is of high quality. The very spacious room, which had an outside terrace, was just right for the length of our stay. All of the decor, furnishings and linen were of a very high quality. The hosts, Marie and Jean Herbert are a refined and cultured couple. Breakfast was good, served in an elegant dining room with Chopin in the background. Although table d'hôte is sometimes offered it wasn't available during our stay but Marie gave us a very good recommendation for a good value nearby auberge, Le Meuzinc.

Cosy and comfortable B & B

Our bedroom was large, bright, cosy, and well decorated, with attention to detail such as bathroom amenities, crisp white linen and plenty of pillows. There is a new large balcony facing the forest, as it was a great place to sit and relax. The guest rooms are upstairs while the hosts' quarters are downstairs. Breakfast was more than just croissants and coffee, M. Hebert prepared crepes and home made jams, and excellent coffee. Mme Hebert gave us good tips on tourist sights though her recommendation of the restaurant for our dinner turned out to be a bit disappointing.

Прекрасный гостеприимный дом !

Прекрасный уютный дом с видом на лес и ручей, через дорогу виноградники , примерно в километре от центра Нюи -сан- Джорж, метров пятьсот до супермаркета . Дом очень милый, с красивым садом, террасой, все очень ухоженно . Внутри очень чисто ,обстановка оформлена с большим вкусом и любовью, завтрак проходит в холодное время в элегантной гостиной под классическую музыку- что создаёт особенную атмосферу ! Сам завтрак великолепен , все очень свежее и вкусное , Жан каждое утро готовил нам вкуснейший омлет в разных вариациях из домашних яиц -это было незабываемо, и потрясающе вкусные блинчики с бананом - просто браво ! Вкусный кофе, круасаны, вкусное масло и конечно шесть видов различных джемов , которые Мари приготовила своими руками! Каждое утра новая сервировка стола , теплота и гостеприимство ! Мари и Жан практически не говорят по английски, но мы прекрасно общались через онлайн переводчик , Мари давала нам каждое утро прекрасные рекомендации куда поехать , помогала забронировать рестораны , за это мы ей очень благодарны! Номера чистые, удобные, светлые, все удобно и комфортно , каждый день бутылка воды, и главное что редкость для зимней Европы- тепло ! Очень тронул нас подарок Мари и Жана, спасибо большое за гостеприимство и помощь во всем , обязательно ещё вернёмся! Так же отмечу расположение - до главных гранд крю рукой подать, сама деревня очень милая, есть где перекусить и выпить бокал вина даже в нерабочее время - даже в ноябре когда многие уже закрылись .

Rustig gelegen B&B met heerlijk ontbijt

Op doorreis richting Alpen verbleven we met onze beide kinderen (6/10) één nacht in de verzorgde en rustig gelegen B&B van Jean en Marie Herbert.
De kamers waren stil en net. Het ontbijt was heerlijk (o.a vers gebakken pannenkoeken) en de ontvangst hartelijk.
