Very good address

Great address for a well placed and advantageous accommodation at the price! Full service and competent staff attentive and very friendly. I stayed there 3 nights with a friend and everything went very well. Quiet hotel but the street is a bit noisy at night: earplugs will be useful. The only downside is the rather small and impractical staircase when you have a suitcase. The shower is clean and there was no queue in the morning to go to the toilet which was very nice. The rooms and corridors are also a little narrow but it is far from disturbing if you are not looking for a 4 star room. The subway mouth is outside the hotel door and bakeries and shops are right next door. Excellent value for money I recommend!

Okay but not amazing

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall the hotel was okay. Positives were that it had a metro station literally outside the door and the room was clean and well stocked. Negatives were the man at the front desk was rude. When we arrived he started shaking his head like something was wrong making us terrified we didn’t have a room. Then he said we were floor 4 and there was no elevator/lift just a tiny spiral staircase which was impossible to get bags up and he offered no help just watched us struggle carrying our 20kg suitcase up. The room also had two windows that just let in so much noise even when shut. It was like you were outside so bring earplugs.
The whole hotel other than the room smelt of cat pee and never went away. When we arrived at the hotel one night at around 10pm there were a group of guys outside the hotel so we being two girls didn’t want to try and get in so we called multiple times and no answer so we couldn’t enter our hotel until they left. Overall for the price it was good and clean rooms which is all that matters.

Nice little hotel very clean

Nice little hotel in the 20th arrondissement, very well maintained.
Very clean rooms and linen.
Comfortable bedding and very nice host staff.
You can hear a little street noise, but as in all the buildings that face the street in Paris.
Perfect for a break.

bedbugs

Unfortunately after a few nights of sleep we found out that the bed was full of bedbugs. Got another room after insistence. We could also expect compensation, but they would contact us for that. Unfortunately, they haven't contacted us. We then sent an email ourselves. No answer received only blocked so making contact was no longer possible.

Don't Recommend (even for those on a budget)

My partner and I are not too picky with hotels. We want the basics, such as an affordable, clean room with the basic amenities. However, it was hard to get just that. We got the affordability but it came with having to ask for clean towels (it was clear they tried to have us reuse the old ones by just putting them on the heaters to dry), also there wasn't always someone there in the very small lobby, the shower took forever to drain and the water in the bathroom took a while to get warm. Additionally, there was one day when the maid didn't show up. To be fair, we did leave a little later than usual in the morning (late 10, early 11 am, and their checkout time is 11:30 am, the latest) but in my experience, the maid would always come back, but that didn't happen for us here. The pictures certainly make the hotel look a lot better than it is and I wish I saw some of the other bad reviews before booking a stay here.
