Pleasant stay at the Etoile Maillot.
Very clean room, great location by Porte Maillot near the metro and the RER. Quiet room. The breakfast is good and has a decent amount of choice. The personnel is very friendly and responsive.

€6,000 Fraud Involving My Reservation — Yet Management Denied All Responsibility
€6,000 fraud – management denied responsibility and left me waiting for months
On 2 June 2026, I lost approximately €6,000 in a sophisticated fraud in which the scammers had access to highly specific, non-public details of my Hôtel Étoile Maillot reservation, including my name, phone number, booking reference and exact stay dates.
When I reported the incident, members of the hotel staff told me that the problem appeared to have originated from the hotel’s systems. I was also told that other guests had experienced similar incidents and that the hotel had had its systems checked because of the issue. The staff were concerned and genuinely tried to help.
Management’s response afterwards was completely different. Despite what I had been told at the hotel and despite the extraordinary amount of private reservation information in the scammers’ possession, management denied any responsibility and repeatedly redirected the entire matter to Booking.com.
I provided every document and piece of evidence requested and cooperated for months, while being repeatedly told that Booking.com was investigating. In the end, there was still no resolution and no meaningful attempt by the hotel to address my €6,000 loss.
For me, the most disturbing part is not only the fraud itself, but the contrast between what I was told by staff at the hotel and management’s subsequent refusal to accept any responsibility. After months of being passed back to Booking.com, I have been left to pursue the matter myself.

Central Parisian Hotel
Perfect location with in walking distance to Ark De Triomphe. Champs Elyse’s etc.
Hotel was very nice and staff very friendly especially Rahul who is a major asset at breakfast time and to the hotel.
