First time to Paris. The staff was excellent and helped with restaurant options. Basement for breakfast felt like we were getting a truly authentic Parisian start to the day, like we were in a medieval cavern; awesome. Rooms clean and the location was perfect since it's like a suburb but easy to get the metro. Great area, felt like a local. Would stay again no doubt!

We forgot 2 things in the room after the check out so we contacted the hotel for get back but they not come back with any feedback, really poor service

On arrival everything was good, although the room was clean there was a musty smell in foyer and room. 8i had changed my booking to a triple from familu quadruple however the room was atill for 4. First night was ok. Staff on arrival was most helpful. Second day we awoke to ants in our room and by the evening when we returned from a day in the city the air con was not working and there seemed no one came to look even though another room had the same problem and a staff member actually went to check on theirs. So with it probably being the hotest weekend we had to suffer with no air con in a room with no openable windows due to location at lower street level and 3 people occupancy. I reported it again on check out but not very helpful even when I also reported the infestation of ants

The room was old but not like a charming old. There was some sticky substance on the door of our room. The refrigerator didn’t work. Nor did 2 of the outlets. It’s very very small but you are in the heart of Paris. It is just a place to sleep really. If you stay here the walls are thin. The lobby smells like sewage. But the rooms smell fine. It was okay. Wont stay here again probably.
